Feels fine, Haven’t even adjusted the clickers yet, put I recommend you do. I did set sag but thats it. Yamaha is known for their suspension being great out the box with minor adjustments. Feels a bit stiff on the trails though. Perfect for MX.
How long do you think the engine will last before needing to open to change the piston? In the manual it says to change it with 12.5 hours, but I think it's too little time.
@@RIDEreviewRELOAD Is Wiseco more durable than the original? Can you explain to me how is the piston change on these bikes regarding the measurements? Because from what I saw the cylinder has a hard metal coating that cannot be rectified, I don't understand that, is it just going to put a bigger piston? If you can clarify this for me I would be grateful, I am a kart driver with a parilla 2 stroke engine, these engines have pistons to fit without grinding but in some cases a cylinder machining service is necessary. I'm from Brazil, maybe I mistranslated a word. My dream is to have a YZ 125, Yamaha sells it here in Brazil, but it is much more expensive than in the USA. Thanks.
@@douglasguido6627 yes the wiseco piston is forged , not cast iron, therefore it is more durable. It also has a coating on the piston to perfectly mesh with the cylinder, I believe is 54mm bore on stock.
@@douglasguido6627 i never messed with the cylinder head, the bike is fairly new and I keep up with Maintenance. These motors are pretty durable you shouldn’t have to mess with cylinder unless it was overheated or under oiled (lean)
Bike sounds great! Looking into it!
Sweet bike!
Thanks!
Hi, what is the stock main jet size?
160
How does the factory suspension feel @your weight of 200lbs?

I did it at 25 but was perfect when it came out. Put a Weisco piston in it. Im not changing it again until 60-75 hours.
