In 2019 I went through the absolute most difficult time of my life. I dropped out of college and stopped everything in my life because I became so extremely sick. Everything in my life had to stop. Every single day and every single night I battled with mental illnesses that kept me on the verge of suicide. Every day and night I couldn't escape the broken hopes and dreams and the failed relationships and the disappointment in myself that I collected when I had to quit everything in my life. Years of my life, blood sweat and tears I poured out to make it into my dream university, my greatest hopes and aspirations - little did I know that the greatest aspirations would be my greatest failures, that my greatest hopes would be my greatest disappointments, that the height of my life would become the lowest in my life. I suffered with depression, anxiety, insomnia, and perpetual psychosis. It was impossible to escape the perpetual torment by day and the perpetual torture by night. I would wake up in night terrors and no matter where I went, all of my woes followed me like a rainy cloud. I had to look to what I could find to keep me going. I learned to appreciate the little things in life and to appreciate simpleness. When I became unravelled slowly at university and had to painfully let go of every one of my aspirations, it was your music that kept me through. Whenever I found quiet moments in the day or night, little moments I could be at peace, and in chaotic times as well, I could always return to the simple pleasure of listening to this video. I have studied to your previous videos in years before and today I still study to your newer videos. All along my side I had your collections of music to listen to, and it has kept me going in times both high and low. It might not mean much to others but I hope you know that you have kept me going and today, after two and a half years of pouring out my heart and soul to getting back on my feet and continuing not just my education, but my life as well, picking up a job again and being able to work out and forming new relationships and a better awareness of myself, these things I have spent years in cultivating, now I'm back on the ground and just getting started. Thank you for the simple joy of listening to music. It's been a help in my life and I'm sure in others. Lots of love to you folks - I love this community.

I live in a small town, and there are places where you can get coffee, but only one true cafe I can think of, and this cafe always plays some kind of jazzhop/chillhop.
Oh, and it's probably the only place that has freshly roasted and ground coffee here.
I'm not boasting, just saying that if a town with 15k people has such cafe, then you can probably find it too.

I feel this!!! These compilations and the chilledcow livestream got me through college as a Physics major, studying for tests, during the weekends, doing homework... I graduated last fall and I am now in the workforce as a teacher. I still play both when I am planning, or when my students come to my tutorials or are testing. These compilations are so special to me. It is a bittersweet feeling. They feel like home and remind me of all the things that they have got me through, while also getting me through present life. Love them forever, the only music that brings my anxiety levels down and makes me enjoy the tasks that my brain registers as stressful.

I can't describe it enough. It's that good! Lol. Like this album gives the Fall a sound lol. Like, this is what I imagine what Fall sounds like. That's crazy. listening almost a year later is making me nostalgic already for 2019, before coronavirus and quarantine and all these worldwide problems that we're dealing with. It almost hurts my heart to listen to this, because I can bring up memories of listening to these songs while studying in the library with my friends.

My friend and I and could not get over how cute those sheep are or how lovely the cloud transition is! I joined Fall 2018 and haven't been able to stop listening. These are my kids' lullabies, and the relaxing animation loops are mesmerizing to them as well. Plus, the hubs and I love lo-fi. We're all looking forward to these new essential playlists. They never disappoint!
