    Since buying this beautiful bass, I have made the following upgrades:
    1. Installed a set of Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound single coils
    2. An Obsidian Wire solderless Jazz Bass wiring kit - obsidianwire.com/products/tra...
    3. Hipshot Kickass bridge
    4. Dunlop strap holders
    5. String tree with grooves underneath to allow for smoother string movement
    Please note, I was not endorsed nor given anything of benefit or gain to review this product. I paid for this product out of my hard earned CREDIT CARD! :-)
    Thank you everyone for your support, likes and kind words. I could not have done this without you all.
    Keep safe and stay positive.

    It sounds great! I always feel like the jazz bass sounds upbeat and the precision bad sounds sombre … your modifications are really successful, lots of punchiness, great work! Those SD pickups are reverse polarity to each other so when the volume is up on both pickups they are designed to hum cancel in that position, but it sounds like its pretty quiet anyhow

    • @christosfragias592
      @christosfragias592  Před 2 lety

      Thank you so much for your comment. And really appreciate your explanation on the reverse polarity of the pick-ups. It all makes sense now. The bass has been given a new lease of life. Which makes playing it all the more enjoyable. Keep ROCKING! 🤘 🎸🤘🎸😀

    Hi mate. I e got the p bass version same colour and all. The only mod I’ve made so far is cobalt flat wounds and the bass cuts through the mix for all my gigs and loves effects pedals as well. A great product

    Im looking to change the pickups because the stocks on my are very low output even with pickups closer the strings those pickups would improve the output and some low frequencies???

      @christosfragias592  Před rokem +1

      Hey Brother. Thank you for your comments. The Seymour Duncans really increase all spectrum of frequencies. From low to high. You won't be disappointed. For my next bass, I will probably try the Dimarzio Relentless series, just to have tonal variety. Keep ROCKING! 🤘🎸🎸🤘

    Why did you have to change the "bridge" ...That cost you an extra $130

    • @christosfragias592
      @christosfragias592  Před rokem +2

      It added so much more tone, headroom, and improved intonation. Along with the ability to individually space strings via moveable bridge saddles.
