I still to this day prefer this edit. Her vocals are anazing. Much like in her song 'gravity'. Had no idea the meaning of this song is basically a 'fuck you' to her label that forced her to write a love song. Artists should be allowed to express themselves however way they want to.
I distinctly remember hearing this version on the radio and thinking it was great. Then one day they started playing the version with a band and I was so annoyed. I know its the same song, but I feel like poppy drums and cool guitar licks don't really fit with this song.

I think this song is a diamond of the 2000´s her talnet is not valorated as it must be, she is a great singer and piano player, moves me her songs better her performances with only vocals and piano, love her my favorites singers of the last decade. Technically, a set of toms and cymbals is considered acoustic. There is nothing wrong with including drums in an "acoustic" or "clean" mix of a track in theory.
No it's not. There are no drums or guitar playing. Acoustic means simple. Just one instrument and one or two voices. That's what this is. Just the piano and Sara's voice. If you think this version sounds the same as the original, you must be musically deaf.
This sounds like the drums and guitars were pulled out. This is just a stripped version of the original. You can hear really small harmonies in the chorus that a singer can't do in real time. This isn't a real acoustic version.
