Super pretty track. Middle Kids were starting to get a little too celebratory for me, as ridiculous as that sounds.
I think what makes this group, specifically Hannah’s songwriting, so compelling, is that fine juxtaposition-that space between championing the obstacles we face every single day and the temptation of resignation.
As a songwriter, her ability to navigate that reality, transparently, gracefully; honestly, while still conveying and instilling in her audience a sense of hope is a gift. The idea that beauty perseveres.

If pregnancy, reality, makes you uncomfortable, just go watch something else less challenging for you. jeez. This song has so much more to offer than your petty hateful criticism. You wreck the world for your own ego. Try creating something instead of tearing someone else down. I think the Middle Kids are about to blow up the world with this song and where will you be? You are a small person. Grow up.
