you've been playing this for 5 years?? Why??? At most I just complete the story and then move on, which is normally maximum 2/3 weeks depending on how much time I have
@@LevelLiteXP No problem; if you want to learn more about Cubemaps, I recommend looking into older games, or older game engines, like the Source Engine. the way that it works is that if a model's material can have reflections, whatever needs to be reflected still needs to be computed somehow; since making accurate real-time reflections are extremely expensive, we use techniques like cubemapping or screenspace reflections to make those things happen in a cheap way. Cubemaps are an omni-directional image which then apply to that model's material if it's within range of the cubemap. We got really good at hiding this but sometimes it can be made very obvious, like in this game, with the camel's eye. It's part of the reason why ray tracing is such a big deal now, since it means that those types of reflections will become obsolete!
That was a really helpful summary. Thanks for explaining it more. I'll definitely check it out, I really want to understnad more in-depth how video games work.
Dust will form on bayeks face if he stays in the desert too long. while using senu you can make her do a barrel roll water wets clothing only upto the point till which the clothing is submerged
AC origins has an amazing detail of having that blurry image(heat waves) when you are in a desert and also you can experience an Mirage where you see some water and palm trees but when you go near it, it disappears. Amazing details.
You know by the Dictionary’s definition of an RPG everyone of the assassins Creed games is an RPG. By the Dictionary’s standard quote “ a game in which each participant assumes the role of a character that can interact within the game’s imaginary world “ end quote
In fallout 4, in the tv you can build using the settlement workshop no matter if you are inside or outside the tv will always have a reflection of some buildings and what seems to be a mailbox
They decided to reflect the environment in the camel's eyes which I don't care at all. but what's up with rope physics when walking on it. It doesn't seem to bend at all..
apex legends has something similar. in the map Olympus, which has nothing to do with gods, it is an artificial modern floating island. if your teammate uses the character Pathfinder and if you look in his robot eye you can see a POI in the middle of the map. im pretty sure this is also in other maps, but thats the only one ive personally experienced
Odyssey and Valhalla are good games on thir own. Still origins feels superior despite being the first rpg AC game and the "experiment" to settle the genre on the franchise.
These are the shits we never cared about but still ubisoft did an amazing job Lets not forget here is where the Assassin's creed lost the identity and become an rpg
It's a great game, still feels like assassin's creed, didn't go too far into the rpg setting. Great voice acting, great combat, mostly good story, great open world with tonnes to do. It's a good assassin's creed game and is in my top 5 favourite games in general.
Never noticed that but i also never looked at camels i mostly focused on getting the best possible gear that i could and it would juts be luck because of the ducking Heka chests that don't give me anything good

san andreas bayek skin is cursed
Now that is attention to detail
I was waiting for Bayek's first sentence to be "Ah shit, here we go again."
it's an HDRI. a technique used to make reflection without actually reflecting anything in real-time
