Mostly they are covering the airintake filter so that more gas goes into the mistuxe to cool down the engine on the long straights. These engines run at 19.000rpm. Some times they are messing with richness in 2 little adjustment flips on the carburator which is right behind the ir filter intake
and at the beginning before they started they'll be pinching the fuel line to stop themselves oiling up. These engines want to be at 19k and not running round slowly.
I went to single seaters at the age of 16, wish I raced formula super a at this track cause it ws just amazing in jica and ica

I would be so damn nervous starting on pole in that race.i run dirt oval so i know how those starts are.these guys may be more respectful
