I wish these things are taught in our schools and homes, Jazak Allah khair for explaining these important issues.
Marriage is one of my biggest fears.
I'm working on it slowly with the help oh Allah's advice and his book.
In my teens I was very confident that marriage is not for me and I'm never going to marry. But now when I'm understanding Deen, my psychology and my responsibility as a woman, at 19 years old now I think I need nikkah! 😊
Finally I'm not at an extreme I'm still approving my thought pattern and fears.

1. Qawwam=caretaker/ provider/munazzim/Chief in charge of well being and protection and productive life of family members, maintains mental health, manager of functioning family.
2. For this important role we need qualified husbands in every home. Qualified in Islam, in human psychology etc. As its an important role.
3. Women has different set of responsibilities with different type of psychology/physical/hormones/chemicals. That's why Prophet said don't give Talaaq to your wife during her periods/menstrual cycle. Kindly note this important point why? Because she is not herself or highly sensitive/ hormonal changes etc during her periods. But Muslim men, women, parents, scholars have no idea or they do no discussion about this. Qawwan and even other women in the house should take notice of this and handle. As mother's are responsible too for raising functioning Muslim generation.
4. So men need to be wise and eloquent enough to guide/advice/educate his family by becoming a compassionate and wise role model himself. E.g Rules around the house for watching TV, and explaining pros and cons with wisdom and facts. E.g assigning times for doing studies, play etc, follow ups on studies. Respecting, parents and wife in front of children. Giving rights to everyone.
5. Infact both men and women should just think about serving Allah SWT and raise a functioning Muslim family to leave behind as their legacy for ISLAM.
6. In Islam both men and women are honoured as per their responsibilities, no job done properly, so no honour.
Nothing to be snobby or being bossy in homes. Men as a leaders please don't bring shame to Islam. Do your job properly. Get educated in Islam properly. Its compulsory.

I learned alot of things.. one thing that stuck with me is the working of the wife.. it makes husband less motivated to work... having said that.. there are situations where the husband doesn't earn enough and the wife has to help to stay afloat.. how do one handle a household like that?
