  • A rollout wheel Makes welding fast and easy. Mine is nothing special. But it works great. I encourage you guys to get started with a simple roller oil it will save you time.
In the second part of the video I cover skin care and the importance of having healthy skin. I wish I would’ve started sooner. But that’s not the first time I’ve said that nor will it be the last.
What should a young welder do coming out of school. Tips and tricks on showing up on your first day. And what is expected from the older more experienced welders.
    I hope you enjoy it. #weldingrigtour #weldingrig
This is my journey to welding pipe. Welder motivation. You can do it any of us can do it. You just have to sacrifice a little bit it to gain a lot. Welding pipe really saved my bacon. I hope this helps somebody have a great day!

It’s important to go to welding school but it is more important to learn how to weld. It doesn’t matter what you do just practice and keep practicing. Nobody can hold your hand. It’s up to you. American Welding Society! Welding schools!

Ok guys I don’t know if anyone reads my comments or not. If you’re really interested in learning our trade you need to pay attention to what Chris is trying to teach you. I have about 40 years in the business ( that’s just so you know I’m not a green hand ) . He’s really trying to help y’all out. I have even learned a thing or two that I never really thought about watching his videos . Anyway that’s my two cents

New subscriber here. Welded for a large Govt contractor for years when I was younger. Age 62 now. You are spot on about skin care. When I was younger, I didn't practice proper skin care or always wear the proper ppe. The result.... now in my older years, I have had 20 basal skin cancer surgeries. Mostly face and arms. Glad someone is putting out some advice about skin care. Hopefully people will listen.

If it works don't fix it.... That's the problem with most people, they have to get/have the newest, best of whatever. The number one... Big advantage to your wheel is you can fix it as needed and adapt it as needed. Continue with the good videos , started welding 60 years ago, went to school for it 35 years ago. Am still learning. Thanks for the bits of knowledge you share. Be safe and take care.

Don’t knock your tools! You make an income with them, especially if they work and serve a useful purpose. Yours was free digging it out of the weeds your cost a little sweat. I have fabricated several things for my hay operation that serve the functions that I built them for. Need is the mother of invention. Your videos are very useful keep up the good work. Skin care very helpful. I wear long sleeve shirts year round when outside.

I'm gunna make one of these for the fab shop. We normally tack or weld up a flange first. But itd be nice to have something for different sizes and not wasting time tacking on a flange I don't need to weld out completely.

My dad has the same style rollout wheel, older hand named Gary taught him, and I built one just the same and the same setup with the vise and all. It's not as heavy as the fancy ones, and didn't cost anything to build. Made from scrap at the job site. Been using it for 5 years now, has never let me down.

Yes! Skin care!, Doctor started cutting crap off my face at the tinder age of 32. Best sunscreen ive found is "Rodan & Fields- Reverse", So great I started selling it. Second best over the counter is Neutrogena dry touch. Both soak into your skin well. Not greasy and dont run into your eyes when you start to sweat.

That's exactly how my roll out wheel is made. Had mine for about 10 to 12 years. Never needed anything else

You are absolutely right about the collagen. I wasn't a believer but my wife insisted it would help my sun damaged skin...especially the fragile, sun-damaged backs of my hands. But for a year now, I've done exactly what you do...a scoop in my coffee. It has no flavor and doesn't make the coffee consistency any different - you'd never know. But my hands and skin know! I've recently gotten my folks on board with that, too.

Coconut oil and lavender scented oil is awesome. Only thing that helped my dried out eyebrows. Great for little cuts/scratches/abrasions, keeps it lubed so you don’t dry out when you have it uncovered to “breath”. Very easy to make for yourself.

Chris just recently found this channel. Great stuff. I have been operator for refinery’s for 34 years. Also just tinker welding on projects for folks here and there. Great stuff on the skin care. My wife has been on me to take care of my skin, well needless to say I did not through all these years. Recently had 10 spots froze off my mainly left arm (window arm) take care and use the sun screens. They will help. Still welding small projects as refinery time allows. You have some great content keep it coming.

That's actually pretty cool. The fancy ones I'd be too worried about someone stealing it or losing it off the truck.
