Taylor said in her Time interview that by the time she went to Travis game, Travis and her were already a couple. She had been secretly dating Travis since July. Swifties didn't know anything about Travis until Taylor wanted them to. But while they dated starting in July, Taylor went to their practices that only if she has permission is allowed to be there as no one is except the team and coaches. She brought with her pop tarts that she said she made for the team and the linebackers loved them. Of course. She went into their locker rooms while her bodyguards stayed outside. After Taylor's first game, and Travis knew she would be there he rented out an entire restaurant for the entire football team and brought Taylor and his mom there where Taylor could get friendly and know his teammates as they are family also to Travis. Taylor had a great time as you see her with her arms around Travis neck most of the time.

Taylor and Travis started dating in July. Taylor was so into that she went to their private practices bringing pop tarts that she said she made and the linebackers loved them. The best was the paparazzi did not know plus they are not allowed at practices anyway. Taylor is very into football since she saw as she said herself she never knew football was so exciting and she loves it. She has seen them without their jerseys. And was given her own locker. Sweet.

@@mikedebruynthey never had a disastrous date. They went to a restaurant for dinner in NYC on their first date. They both had a great time. Taylor said soon after she saw Travis talking on his podcast she contacted him and they went out secretly until she came to his game where they went public.

Maybe but how did her previous intellectual matches work out for her? Matty tried and buckled so fast that it was over in 14 days when he could not live up to the expectations he build up in her mind and she considered him a twin in music appreciation and songwriting.
Taylor is so over Joe way before the official break up of Joe and Taylor way before the Eras tour started. She was so into Matty but that ended and he has a girlfriend. Joe was not an intellectual. He has a love of only very sad songs and did not like Taylor's songs but then wrote the melodies and also verses to songs they did together that people said were great songs. Taylor lived with Joe only listening to the sad songs he loves and turned her onto them. But they didn't go anywhere really as Joe did not want any photos or paparazzi around and so they stayed in her home. Joe did not like being asked about Taylor and refused to marry her or commit to her where finally they knew they were not a match. Taylor even during her and Joe stayed in contact with Matty but then he ghosted her causing more heartbreak than she had with Joe. If you read her prologue to her latest albums she writes, that with the writing of the songs about them, she is totally over it and has no need ever to write about any of her exes again. She said it was a moment in time even if it was 6 years as she was over the relationship and over Matty and has a different life now because she is older and wiser. I paraphrased. It used to be Taylor did all the chasing to get the guys which never worked out for her. Matty said he would marry her but changed his mind. For good. Taylor who always wanted to be with the football guy in HS but they did not want her and a lot of girls thought she was too running after guys making a fool of herself so they shunned her. But now with Travis, he loves her for her. And Taylor never went with a billionaire so Travis has millions like Harry and Jake did. Joe had no money but Taylor did not mind paying for everything for him. So money will never be an issue. Travis pays for Taylor because he is a man. He also treats her great and she loves everything about him. He is doing professional things besides football that has earned him many millions. People think Travis is not smart. He is way smarter than people think. And Taylor didn't spend any time talking to Mayer, Jonas, Styles, Matty etc about Aristotle etc. So intellectually they had nothing in common. Harry, Mayer, Jake, Jonas, Joe and Matty dumped Taylor. Most of them had only 2-3 month relationships. Joe and Taylor both saw they had huge personality differences. Whether Travis and Taylor get married or not, Taylor finally found someone who treats her with respect, is a superstar in his own field so no competition and her father said to Travis father, he is happy Taylor is dating a football player than a musician.
I don’t think she’ll ever go back to Joe knowing after 6 years no ring, marriage or family. Taylor grew up with a close family and she wants that for herself. At this point that’s her life choice but that doesn’t mean she’ll stop her career. I think they’re navigating living together so they have more time together. Travis is big on family also so he’ll want his own. This is just my humble opinion.
They don’t have to have the same type of intellect to work out. Their differences make them interesting rather than both being in the same type of job.

Who says his mom doesn't like her? Or that her mom doesn't like him? I am curious to know the source of that information. As far as Matty, she figured out pretty quick once they got together that he isn't really who she thought he was and couldn't give her what she wants. She said with the release of the album that she is done with all of the exes and has moved on.
