I use ExplorOz, but often I'll also download things on google maps to work offline and I do carry a paperback nap in case they fail.I've seen that robe to beach port on CZcams and would love to do it one day when I get around to doing the lap.
When you head north in wilbinga there is a sign about 200m before the river mouth saying vehicles are prohibited
