The problem you have with Zach Edey is wild. Ja played his best basketball with Steven Adams, a guy who can't do much outside the key. Teach Edey how to set picks and crash the key at an NBA level like Adams can, and he's the perfect fit next to Ja. Dude is 7'4, 300 pounds, and can get rebounds at will. A big body, that can get rebounds, and can physically clear the key for Ja.
I like the Edey pick. I’m not worried about the paint clog. We had Adams for 2 years and Ja got better. Edey will come off the bench aswell so I love the pick even more. Ja also has been working on his midrange a lot

Cody Williams healthiest 11 game stretch early in year of 24 he played he averaged 16.5ppg on 61% from the field and 56% from 3. His injuries were pretty significant especially the ankle at the end he shouldn’t have played on and slowed him down but he had much success as an underweight freshman and he has very good physical tools and the blueprint for NBA success from his brother I disagree with the idea he has high bust potential

About the Edey spacing issues with Memphis. In their defense they can have Edey set off ball screens on the perimeter for shooters in order to create defensive rotation
Hi! I strongly disagree about Risacher. For sure he will have a big impact immediately. His ability to knock down 3s and to defend multiple possition will be a huge asset for the Hawks. At least he will be a great starter for a championship team, the only question is about his ceiling

And on defense if he does get beat from time to time there are guys like Jaren Jackson, Vince Williams Jr. and Marcus Smart to cover for him. Love this pick.
We all know why Sarr didn't want to go to Atlanta. They made the Conference Finals, got more talented yet have only gone backwards. Clearly there's something dysfunctional with that franchise.

Intersting point about Donovan Clingan. The press in Israel interviewed some candidates before the draft. As a small country with one NBA player, one of the questions was on Deni (yes, they are idiots and unprofessionals). Clingan is the only player, that was very specific and talked about moves he can run with Deni. It's mean, he probably has learnt every team and thought on ways he can play better there. I don't think there are a lot of players that have ever done that.
With Edey he will be fine with Ja, especially with the pick and roll. Perimeter defense is still a question but the block on Knecht in the elite eight shows he can move and has great body control when he needs to. Especially with his work ethic, I think he is more versatile than people think because at Purdue he had a role and played it perfectly. He’s efficient and draws fouls without flopping and can imagine him developing into a 15pt/8-10reb a night guy.

The B+ for the Bulls pick is a little generous. When you have a lottery pick, and you’re in rebuild mode (like the Bulls should be) you should find the playmaker or scorer you can build around first Bc that’s the hardest skill set to find. Buzelis’ weaknesses are dribbling and shooting. His strengths are rim protection, off-ball defense, and cutting without the ball. Those are the last skillsets you acquire to fill out the roster after you have your starting 5. I’m not saying he can’t be a productive player, just saying he has the skillset to match a win-now roster. Not a rebuild.
as an OKC fan im confused by the pick lol. the dude cannot even play for the year because of injury and OKC are in championship contention. makes no sense to me…. but in Presti we trust
I’m gonna need yall who keep saying this to start saying names because I have no idea who was supposed to be this missing piece of all the guys that were on the board lol. @@unkownknob I’m just of the mind that I’m not worried about the perimeter ball handlers and creators we have already on the roster with Shai, JDub, Caruso, sophomore Cason, and Chet with an increased focus on playmaking. You probably wont respond, but who do you think Orlando should have selected at 18? With Knecht and Carrington out of the board, I think Tristan was the best pick.
If you are going to make the point of Edey clogging up the paint but not mention Steven Adams working successfully in Memphis then your point falls flat.
In terms of TSJ, its All about perspective, if he is not falsely accused, he may just go to charlotte or utah, instead he is going to a Timberwolves team riding a high not seen in over 20 years and we are looking to build on that and expect him to contribute to that right away
The crazy thing is that the kings traded davion Mitchell today and Devin Carter is like davion but with better potential and more has more athleticism and I feel like Jared McCain could start and Dalton Knecht
Sarr played in Atlanta for a while with OT Elite.. Hawks knew everything about this kid.. No need for a private workout when they didnt like him.. lol..
The Edey pick was the worst of the first round for me. I think this is a terrible fit with Memphis. I think Edey would have benefited more from going to a place where he would be a bench player and would only have to play 10-15 minutes a night for the first couple years till he can get in shape and be able to run with an NBA team, and also work on transitioning his game to an NBA style game.
Why didn’t the Pels take Filipowski? They get to let go of Val in FA who just doesn’t work with Zion, Good sized defender who can move and space the floor is exactly what zion needs, not Missi who’s strictly there for defense
I’m a die hard hornets fan and watched a lot of film on saluan and i think he has a top 3 ceiling in the draft but im worried about how the hornets will develop him
I absolutely love the Edey pick the grizzlies need some new man who can run the floor and go along side Steven Adam’s. I’m so glad they got him I loved him in college lage
Why do the pistons keep drafting people who can’t shoot? They’re getting great athletes but they haven’t drafted a shooter with any of their top picks and most of them are complete non threats from 3
Washington be a Isiah Hartenstien destination? Give him a 3-4 years 60-80 mil have him play next to Sarr and have Sarr learn from him defensively and also a solid bridge center for their rebuild until they can find a franchise guy next to Sarr either at the 4 or 5 down the road maybe Flagg next year or Boozer the year after just hopefully Sarr swallows his pride and is willing to put team success first and play the 5 if needed
Jazz is planning to tank for flag next year. I hope jazz can get the no. 1 overall pick next nba draft they have already a solid youngster players almost complete rosters but they still lack of franchise player the missing star

I know everyone thinks DaRon Holmes would come in and be Aaron Gordon in the playoffs as a rookie but that’s just totally unrealistic
@@Flamerunner451 da silva, trade up for edey, mcain is a better rebounder, carter is a much better rebounder. theres some names that wouldve been better fit for NOW. not saying this is a bad pick in the long run. just dont understand drafting a injured guard when there were uninjured player that couldve helped ANY AMOUNT lol. he cant even help the team this year AT ALL
im assuming Presti is gonna trade for a PF or C thats already battle tested in the NBA for this year. i mean… i really really hope he gets some size……
@@unkownknob I’m just of the mind that I’m not worried about the perimeter ball handlers and creators we have already on the roster with Shai, JDub, Caruso, sophomore Cason, and Chet with an increased focus on playmaking. I also just don’t think Edey does much for us based on style of play both offensively or defensively and da Silva is good but I don’t think he really fits a need
I also don’t think Presti takes exclusively guards in the draft if he doesn’t feel comfortable in being able to get a big wing or big man in FA or trades, like you said. All this just reminds me a whole lot of when people complained for months about us not taking AJ Griffin, I just wish people would’ve learned to be patient at this point
@@Flamerunner451 be patient? OKC was 1st seed last year😂😂 what are you talking about? OKC needs help NOW. the title contention is NOW. not next year, say it with me…. NOW. we been patient for 15 years lmao!!!! you must be a new OKC fan or something. WE BEEN BEING PATIENT
any of the players your saying “wouldnt help much” would help 100% more than a injured playmaker that cant rebound OR PLAY UNTIL NEXT YEAR😂😂 what are you even saying buddy?
Ajay can play. Wish Spurs took him @ 35
What is that Celtics/Mavs LED scoreboard thing on the shelf behind him?
I think the spurs had by far the best draft I honestly expect them to go deep into the playoffs this year
ron gonna show the world he actually got drafted too late‼️
What is that jersey at the back of your room (poster)?
You probably wont respond, but who do you think Orlando should have selected at 18? With Knecht and Carrington out of the board, I think Tristan was the best pick.
Was Steven Adams not in the paint lol?
The one I like the most is Stephon Castle to the Spurs. Him and Wembanyama will be great together.
If you are going to make the point of Edey clogging up the paint but not mention Steven Adams working successfully in Memphis then your point falls flat.
Nice to see you get drafted 12th overall. Thunder Up!!!
I think kinecht fell because his agent told every team, if you draft him, he's gonna play in Australia
In terms of TSJ, its All about perspective, if he is not falsely accused, he may just go to charlotte or utah, instead he is going to a Timberwolves team riding a high not seen in over 20 years and we are looking to build on that and expect him to contribute to that right away
as a kings fan i wish we would’ve picked up a wing or mccain
Me personally I think Kyle filipwoski was a steal in the second round for the Utah jazz
Does anybody know what that little scoreboard behind him is called? Would love to buy one.
I feel like Edey is the most safe pick. He will give you good defense, 10 points and 10 rebounds a game. I love the pick.
Love ur videos. But I'm a casual when it comes to college games. Only thing I would like is if u mentioned their positions cause I felt lost watching.
The crazy thing is that the kings traded davion Mitchell today and Devin Carter is like davion but with better potential and more has more athleticism and I feel like Jared McCain could start and Dalton Knecht
Yeah but they basically gave the raptors Mitchell and Shead for free cause McDaniels is horrible
Yeah your not wrong
The hawks did the best with risacher. They couldn't pick sarr and I think risacher is a good fit in Atlanta. A classic 3&D guy with size
Ron Holland gonna be a Stanley Johnson like type of player or Jaylen Brown type of player no in between
Best ever youtuber
Zaccharie Risacher was picked over Sarr since the was some conflict between Sarr and the Hawks
Ah can’t wait to see this being reacted to in 2 yeara
This is one of those drafts where the best player will be someone drafted 12 or later
What about shannon jr? I think one of the best selections
Let us know about second round steals!
NY needs a french dude B+ for Dadiet
I can’t believe we didn’t take Ryan Dunn as a bucks fan we need defense way more than we need playmaking
Do it for second round picks. Pacers won the draft
Thank you
Why didn’t the Pels take Filipowski?
They’re getting great athletes but they haven’t drafted a shooter with any of their top picks and most of them are complete non threats from 3
I bet Zacc has a better career than Sarr
I bet you are wrong
Washington be a Isiah Hartenstien destination? Give him a 3-4 years 60-80 mil have him play next to Sarr and have Sarr learn from him defensively and also a solid bridge center for their rebuild until they can find a franchise guy next to Sarr either at the 4 or 5 down the road maybe Flagg next year or Boozer the year after just hopefully Sarr swallows his pride and is willing to put team success first and play the 5 if needed
Surprised you didn’t click bait with Rob being in the thumbnail 😂
Sarr played at ote an left maybe he just didnt want to be associated back with the city
So it’s just what players you like vs which ones you don’t? Cool. I was expecting a little but more.
The Knicks should have got Isaiah Collier
Jazz is planning to tank for flag next year. I hope jazz can get the no. 1 overall pick next nba draft they have already a solid youngster players almost complete rosters but they still lack of franchise player the missing star
