Thank you! I had cleaned out my fire pit of log and lava. I cleaned it ready to give my pit and update with glass. Thinking a 10lb. bag would do it. (about 33 to 66 bucks). NOT! Too much money for this update. So, I wanted to just put the glass over my newly cleaned lava and pit but wanted confirmation. Thank you!!!!!!

You say don't cover the holes with propane, right? then don't you cover it with fire glass in the video? thank you for this

Thank you so much for the video! Great demo unit. Quick question, I have a natural gas vented fireplace unit that I'm hoping to use your technique with. I do not see the air intake portions on the jets, perhaps because they are natural gas vs propane. Do you know of any other safety concerns I should be aware of when dealing with lava rock on natural gas indoor fireplace units instead of the ceramic log set which came with it? Any help would be highly useful. Thank you!!

Can I use only fire glass or do I have to put some lava rock in my fire pit? I have a small table top one so the fire glass I bought would fill the whole the thing, thanks.
