...this is also useful for determining when to use article "the" with word "other" and when not to use it...I always wonder when to use "the" and when not to use it.... or when use "a/an" and when not to use it...
Excellent! I need your class everytime Man. My problems are solved with your teaching. I live in Santarem city in Brazil and I watch your videos when I'm free.
Using simple exemples you will transmit easily the meaning of each word in different cases, also i remaked that almost of you video are short but very useful so we can memorise rapidly your lesson, this is my own opinion so thank you so much to do your best for us
Dear Lisa and Kevin, thanks for a great lesson. I want to ask you about the use of the expressions: What type of…! What types of…? What kind of…? What kinds of…? Which one is correct: What type of car do you like? What type of cars do you like ? What types of car do you like? What types of cars do you like? What kind of music do you listen to? What kinds of music do you listen to? What kinds of music do you like? What kind of songs do you have on your phone? What kinds of songs do you like? Thank you for your help.
Thank you very much for this and other videos. All of them are great. Can you help me with a doubt I have after learning with you about this topic? What about "other" as a pronoun for uncountable nouns? For example, can I say: "This information is not enough, we need (any) other"? I have found very little about it and it was not clear. Some people say it is possible to use "other" as a pronoun for uncontable nouns, but they don't give any good examples, and others say that it is not possible. Could you be so kind to explain me about this specific point? Thank you very much and congratulations on your channel.
Helpful channel, I like it. I have a question about your school classes please; do you teach an English writing and grammar? I cancelled my college enrollment cuz composition class was very hard for me, so I'm looking for a good school that can help me to become a better writer.
Why is "the other" only limited to two things? For example, this is a question from a written DMV test: "Which of the following must you obey over the other three?" Am I missing something?
Hello, Kevin! I have a question: You pronounce the letter T in "countable", but most of american people don't pronounce the letter "T" when it comes after a letter "N". Why is that?

Hello
Dear Lisa and Kevin, thanks for a great lesson.
I want to ask you about the use of the expressions: What type of…! What types of…? What kind of…? What kinds of…?
Which one is correct:
What type of car do you like?
What type of cars do you like ?
What types of car do you like?
What types of cars do you like?
What kind of music do you listen to?
What kinds of music do you listen to?
What kinds of music do you like?
What kind of songs do you have on your phone?
What kinds of songs do you like?
Thank you for your help.
You can use "kinds" and "types" when you're looking for a plural answer. EX: What types of cars do you like?
Thanks!

Sometimes "the other" is not limited to 2. It's for a specific number. It can be "the other 3, 4, or 5, but it's not very common.
I subscribed your channel. Thank you for useful lessons. 😊
