Gabcatz it’s not guitar slang, it’s just how and when you play the notes that give it that certain feel, basically in live in la he played everything in a way almost perfect!

I write songs, play piano and sing. This made me consider if i should go all in on guitar and singing. Like Mayer. I love this man. So smooth. So frikkin' amazing at music. Amazing and very unique voice. Extremely good at guitar. Writes sick songs which are just awesome and likeable, but not poppy.

Sound Academy (now Rebel). I was there. He did a bunch of stuff in Toronto over a few days around this time- there was a tiny unplugged type gig at the Hard Rock Cafe as well as a show (on Valentines Day) at the ACC. Nice time to be a Mayer fan in Toronto. I’ve seen him here 6-7 times all years ago. Fav show was with Brett Dennen opening @ Amphitheater.
