LA native, Raquel Rodriguez, is a Mexican-American R&B/soul singer who draws inspiration from the greats of our time; Prince, Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, D’Angelo and Amy Winehouse. Raquel is the true embodiment of the multi-cultural millennial, fusing the subcultures of the last 30 years of LA style with her nostalgic, yet current, brand of music. Raquel has shared the stage with such luminaries as Gwen Stefani and Anderson .Paak, and has opened for artists such as PJ Morton, Snoop Dogg, Lizzo, Moonchild and more.

Wow! Raquel has a incredible, soulful, powerful voice! She can sing her ass off! I'm a musician so I appreciate talent, each member of the band has it! They are tight, and click together! I'm glad I just happened to click on this episode! Raquel and the band keep getting it!

I love everything Raquel does, such a soulful vibe, gorgeous vocals and arrangements. And this band sounds so incredible. I wonder... how is it possible that the recorded vocals sing at the exact played tempo? Are these guys able to play live so precise consistenly? Or perhaps the electronic pad is able to adapt to the live tempo somehow automatically?
