Big fan here. Great review. Going to display with Helmet on / w/ snow base. Brings back a lot of memories in the theaters early 80's. We are very spoiled as collectors these days.
I'm late to the channel (and new to collecting sixth scale), so it's been a blast watching your huge back catalog and seeing the difference in your videos from now vs 2, 3, 4 and 5 years ago. I think you've really settled into a groove lately.

Even from the thumbnail this figure looks AMAZING! No doubt a good looking figure. I love the snowy base plate and the accessories that he comes with. The head sculpture is quite a likness. Live the helmet too that Luke comes with. The figure also has great body prepositions are really good. I feel it would look good next to a Imperal snow trooper or if you get a Hoth version of Han and Leia. Love the figure and video!
The waist grabber is probably there if you do want to invert the stand and have luke in the hanging from AT AT pose. Least thats my best guess for now! Flight pole might have been better for that but would have looked weird when he's just standing there.
Love the review Justin. This is also one of my favorite looks for Luke. Also what I’ve found with mine is when u don’t have the gloves on you can pull the flight suit sleeves down a bit from under the jacket and it covers the wrist pegs pretty good just gotta futz with it
I bought this figure from TW ( not the first purchase I’ve made from them I’ve always had a good experience) And the clam shell for lack of a better word , was melted . It look like it had been exposed to an extreme amount of heat it was all shrunken up and warped. I bought my fair share of hot toys and have never seen anything like this. The figure was fine , as far as I could tell. Justin have you ,or anybody else reading this ever seen anything like this before?
Great review, Justin! This is a well designed figure and I really like the DL-44 blaster! The detail is really good and I could definitely see it being used for a Han Solo figure as well!

Justin, 2 questions, where do you store all your figure accessories (I personally use translucent clear fishing tackle boxes). Also how do you store your empty boxes, I assume you keep them all.
My question on the sideshow version I'm wondering 🤔 is the belt made of the same pleather material or is it a better version of the belt that can replace the bespin luke skywalker belt?

The one thing with the display stand is the name plaque: it looks totally different than the one from the Boba Fett 40th anniversary figure. Should have been kind of the same. I really love this figure, but has anyone else struggled with getting the light up arm to fully attach? No matter what I do I feel like it falls out of the socket if I move it too much. Other than that it’s incredible.
Did they change the face mold? Asking because mine doesn't look like yours and not like the one on my box either. Mine looks a bit famished. Resembles him but not on point like yours or on the box which was the main reason I bought this one.
@@ted5536 cool, what I had to do was to end up removing his jacket very carefully and found that the under garment sleeve was bunched up in the hole and that's why it wouldn't go in. Managed to get it properly and with a lot manoeuvring it is in place. I regret taking it off in the first as I probably won't use the light up much anyway! I'll never be removing that arm again lol! ✌🏾
I noticed on mine, the picture of the X-wing on the white base is wrong. It shows Disney’s Poe Dameron’s style X-wing with the half circle engine intakes. Luke’s X-wing had circular intakes on his engines. Does everyone with this figure have the same issue?
Just curious to what modifications you had to do in order for the head fit on the DX07 Bespin Luke body? I have an extra of this Snowspeeder Luke head, and I'm going to do the same thing. I prefer the DX07 to the new DX25. That one is too clean for me. Great video by the way.

Anyway, I just posted a comment with a screenshot of your video (with credit to you) on facebook about the X-wing on the front of the base being the incorrect X-Wing vehicle - and not even the right X-Wing from the right era films either (It's a resistance X-Wing). I'm hoping Hot Toys will rectify this and give us an updated base that actually has a Snowspeeder illustration or image printed on it. :) Anyway, I just wanted to let you know. Keep up the great videos! I am very excited to open my Snowspeeder Luke soon. I just received mine a couple days ago.

Why did they make the eyes darker though? The lighter eyes is more accurate. Some changes HT does is just baffling when all they had to do was copy what they already did.
For everyone that owns the figure, if you dont like how his head is sinking into colar just take the head of and put it back in without fully pressing down making it kinda sit on the joint in steed of beeing fully attached. Now he has a longer neck and it looks way more natural.
Has anybody had the courage to remove the jacket to see just how detailed the flight suit is underneath? I would be interested to know. That would be my preferred look, but IDK if we will ever get an "X wing pilot luke" now that we have this.
Hey Justin! You got busted... because you didn't know.! Ha. IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW! Ground base has magnet and it goes with Luke Skywalker's grappling gun. Standing base has 2 holes in the back and it can attach on ceiling surface. Luke Skywalker can hang under At-At Walker's under body! Go check your standing base and grappling gun. It has magnet connection. Check it out again.
It is impossible to pose the figure with the helmet in hand since the chin strap must be attached to the helmet and hanging. A great failure of Hot Toys that has not taken into account that idea. On Luke's head you can put the hair or the brown bump. But if he holds the helmet, the strap and chin strap would have to be attached to the helmet in some way, since without it, the pose is unreal, missing that important detail. A pity that Hot Toys lowers design costs and does not take into account multiple options to be able to pose the figure as desired and in the case of posing it as I comment, it looks bad without the chin strap attached to the helmet. The figure is very good, but you have to take into account these details that make the difference between a good figure or an excellent figure.
@@JustinsCollection i am making custom figures with loose parts and i will see what to do with the chinstrap hanging holding the helmet in on hand so the chinstrap will be attached to the helmet. I will customize 5 ESB Snowspeeder stunt pilots changing original for black boots and decals of helmets and other small accessories...some of them with helmets on others only with bumper and others without helmet and bumper. The briefing scene with Leia and Major Derlin with many stunt pilots. (Where we could see old ANH helmets reused as Red Leader, Gold 2, etc)
Jazz channel is making a 1/6 scale smow speeder, that's up for pre order. Check it out because its massive and packed with details, and the cockpit has LEDS. Looks beautiful
