In pairs, bot inventors go head-to-head inside the perilous and bullet-proof BattleBot arena, with the aim of destroying or completely disabling their opponent’s machine.

From amateurs and super-smart technology students to seasoned professionals who have dedicated their lives to creating the ultimate fighting robot, find out what drives these charismatic inventors, and how they turn their visions into supreme battling robots.

the black bot DESTROYED the other one mate. the texan was could not move.. it had drive on one wheel. no weapon and was getting pushed around the arena the entire match.

Black Dragon was robbed. Yes, they took damage early on, but so did Twister. And the last 2/3 of the fight Twister spent running away or getting shoved into walls.
How could the Black Dragon have lost? The judges made a ridiculous decision.

😮😮😮Impossible! Black Dragon destroyed his opponent from start to finish! Judges bought or lost their sense of judgment! This makes the robot battle lose its prestige, disappointed with this trial!
But Texas Twister's weapon lasted longer than Black Dragon's weapon and Texas Twister's weapon do more damage to Black Dragon then Black Dragon's weapon.

Damage requires an active weapon which makes it impossible for black dragon to earn any points as they lost theirs right away. And agression with an active weapon is weighted much much higher so texas twister probably got a point there. Bad rules not bad judging

Não é a primeira vez que eles tiram a vitória de black dragon para dar a um time norte americano, mesmo estando explícito que black dragon venceu. Os motivos? São claros como a luz do dia e isso é lamentável.

I really suggest putting title and season in the episode like S04E02, lots of ppl are used to search for battlebots series that way and i'm sure the official videos will surpass in no time all the reuploaders if organized properly and easily accessible

19:36 That decission alone made me pause the video, look at the comments, read the first 20 of it (19 of them are about Black Dragon being robbed), summarize and quit watching Battlebots right away after only my second episode ever.
That is not a human error, that is simply a country biased judgement ( I am from Austria, Idc if Brazil or the US does win, the better robot has to win and that did not happen).
Use the 15+ minutes of buildup blabla in between the fights and make it a fan based vote...

Agreed. In my case I live in an Asian country that fancies itself a pacifist, so most of the competitions over here center on QR code races and package relays, there's virtually nothing here to satisfy my RC-bloodlust.

Everyone talking about yhe Black Dragon fight of which it was close but nobody talking about the robbery that was Shatter vs Witch Doctor.
Dudes evaded early landed a few hits, lost their weapon but stayed on WD and disabled their weapon, set them on fire and almost counted them out.

I actually expected Captain Shredderator to hit the side of the box and then catapulting himself uncontrollably around the box and destroying himself.
I’m a new fan of the sport! Thank you guys for putting up such amazing shows. I just can’t believe why any other sport can be more popular than this amazing thing! I mean how a bunch of guys kicking a ball around is more entertaining than Bot Battles!!?

Huh, a little surprised Texas Twister was chosen to be the winner, the fight felt very dominated by Black Dragon, specially when they caught on fire and stuff.

Did I misunderstand shedderator design? It looked like a shell spinner, not a full body spinner. What made it able to spin and not move. I seen a full body spinner. It was far more small and fast and scary.
This was a show from 2018's season, so while I think you're correct that Cpt Shredderator isn't literally a full-body, but rather a shell there's some nuance. Shell types are a sub-category under the generalized term "Full-Body", which also includes Ring-Spinners and these days, Meltybrain.
Back in the sport's inception Jamie of Mythbusters made a super heavyweight true full-body, with an ingenious control system but due to its mass and achievable top speeds it was deemed too dangerous to operate in the boxes they had at the time. Adam Savage talks about it now and again.

Edit: Minotaur's main weakness is the weapon motor, that stuff is way too weak. It won't win anything if they keep that slow, weak motor..
