What do you do with the ends of the candy roll? The part that doesn’t get stretched and cut at the end.

I have never intentionally eaten ants, but I have eaten mopani worms. They are African worms that is dried and then prepared to eat, by the local people in the North of South Africa and further North.

I have built myself an ant farm.
I don't believe in enclosing undomesticated animals, like aquariums and eagles even pigeons and rabbits are recently domesticated, there are medieval frescos of 1st domesticated rabbits, but my ants are open lid, they can come and go, and I would never eat them, I got attached to them, I'm feeding them and warming them, you can't even attach to hive animals, there's too many of them, they die, they get....blown away, they get displaced, my dad is a pigeon keeper and a beekeeper, he dc even if one of them dies, but I understand that they're eaten.
They are for eating, I don't mind other ants or even mine being part of the food chain, they are nature's buffet

Do you put a non-vegan label on the ants candy?
they probably don't put that on things. it'll list ants in the ingredient list. i think putting a non-vegan labels on something can cause confusion for people that typically just scan labels

We are omnivores which means we will eat anything. And in many societies eating "bugs" is no big deal.
We are not "meat eaters." That's carnivores. Humans can eat a wide variety of foods. We can be plant-based vegans or insect eaters, and just about anything in between. Humans are omnivores, which means we have a choice of what we eat. Carnivores must eat meat to survive, herbivores must eat grasses. We are not limited like that.
