I love the fact that these keys are not just for the astral gates. They made them being practical and reusable enough to also open mystic doors, if there would be a need.
It's always so embarrassing to accidentally bring my mystic doors key to the astral gates, and vice versa, but now I no longer have to worry about that.

Just don't get astral jacked or you would lose your door aswell.
Need this in my life. Can't stand these cheap disposable keys that you have to toss after opening just ONE astral gate or mystic door. Really sucks when you have to do a dozen or more cosmic opening ceremonies a day, it's just a lot of keys.
I think the band name is taken from a "Stutthof" (later Acherontas) title.

Fun fact: This only happened because a ton of people had locked themselves out of mystic doors. There was actually a petition that got over 100,000 signatures (in blood, of course), and that's how this album came about.

@@obscured.by.clouds. Technically yes. But at the time that the keys were being created, he'd been temporarily banished with some incredibly powerful eldritch magic. When he finally returned, his dimension had essentially been transformed into a maze. This means that his ability to hypnotize those who opened the door to his realm had been significantly hampered. Hope that clears a few things up for you.
P.S. It's still extremely risky to go through those doors.

Usually i'm not big on black metal, or the bootleg cassette era recording sound, but it really works in its favour here. It's crunched enough that nothing really gets lost in the mix

Guys, really, 😦this album has fundamentally reshaped my relationship with music. It's a revelation, stirring something primal within me. CZcams's recommendation feels like destiny, leading me to this transformative moment. It's a powerful force that has forever changed me; I come back to listen daily. Sometimes I laugh hysterically, at other times I cry with cosmic dread, but I just love it.
What's funny is this logo is much more legible than many others. This rules btw, maybe make more than 14 tapes next time

The logo is not a written logo, but a pictorial logo. On the left you have the keys and then, on the immediate right, you have a complex magical arabesque drawing representing the astral gates and the mystic doors. So the logo is not to be read but to be seen.
It is both, actually - the EYS-part to the left is fairly easy to make out when you know what it is. Great, great band!

repost - K3YS 0P3N MY$TIC D00R$ - 5 very strong tracks here but it's definitely Vampyric Comet ->Snowbringer's Spell -> What is the Glimmer that hammer home the groups sound. To others commenter's points Glimmer specifically is a great closer and has some chord progressions which have a bit more of a "gaze" sound to them but the group don't go full Alcest on this at all and instead maintain the lo-fi production and tremmlo strumming and just nail the dismount/landing. Would def recommend for any wizards who need to ponder their orb or lament their losses. Steller follow-up for sure!

I cranked this and it opened a door to a dimension made of pure ham. I started tunneling through with a soldering iron and it smelled great but at this rate I'm going to get maybe three or four feet a year into it at best so I gave up and went to long john silver.
