17:34 I remember when I was a kid. there was never really much to eat and one day I had rice and fried onions.
his reaction to that bite brought me right to that moment. the genuine happiness I felt from my first bite was insane.
The natural beauty still never ceases to amaze me. Also, your ability to scale a coconut tree. I once had to take a personality test during a work training. We were given a piece of paper with a large rectangle box printed on it and told to draw a tree. Well...my tree was a coconut palm... that extended past the borders of the box...and had a monkey throwing coconuts. I didn't really need to read the evaluation. I think mine was self explanatory. My best friend calls me her coconut. I own it.😊 --Jessica from Florida 🌞
How I love to receive these adventures and feel like I’m the first to experience the adventure. Keep them coming!
Amazing video guys. Thanks for making us feel like we are there with all the details awesome. Keep them coming. Stay safe and thanks for sharing your adventure with us we appreciate it alot 🔥🚤🥥🥥🌾🐟🌊🦞🤜🤛
Those underwater scenes were epic lads 🔥
HOW TO SECURE YOUR BOAT at a beach : Put a sizable Scotsman (round buoy) between the anchor and boat to stop the slamming of the waves on the bow of the boat that otherwise could pull your anchor.(buoy acts like a shock absorber) ... This setup will absorb the up and down motion caused by waves. A double anchor is best ( in a "Y" formation) . Two anchors, 2 heavy ropes to the buoys, and two lines , one to each side of the bow of the boat. then to a central cleat. A third line goes from the back of the boat to shore to a solid anchor point, which should be secured above high tide. ( to a tree or big rock or a buried anchor). Come on you guys. Do it right all the time. Stay Safe. Love your videos..
Fantastique aventure entre frères. Trop cool. 👍👍👍🇦🇺🇫🇷
These Two Are Hanging on by a Thread, One Lil Wrong Move And the Adventure Ends !
Getting distracted by all of the underwater life while hunting for food. 👏👏
Easy to do!
Oh yes it's a big 👍from me 💕🇬🇧
I could make a mini desalination station from the odd parts in my garage. I would only need 6 to 8 hours of sun to make ~10 liters of water per day. Or, I would buy one of the dozens that are available on-line or at some shops in Australia. Water, Water Everywhere! But not a drop to drink - unless you have a mini desalination station - then you have all the water you can drink.
This is making me really excited to watch. I’m not at the level where I can do these kinds of adventures yet, but I live in the US and eventually I want to kayak the Great Lakes. This is really inspiring.
Adventure of a lifetime.thank you so much stay safe
I’ve been loving these episodes! 🙌🏼
Amazing episode...LEGENDS
Danger! Excitement! Adventure! What can I say, your videos are superb
You can pack a couple of grand worth of gear, including poppers that you just throw away, but cant pack 2 spoons?
Lmao my exact thoughts...
Creating your own spoon can make it that much more enjoyable .
@@stevehammond2016 yeah.. eating with a dirty spoon made out of a stick you found on a beach makes it so much more enjoyable.. and my shlong is also 12 inches long
Does it matter
All the food looks so good!
Nature uninterrupted epic footage🤙
Good eating size shark boys......
For last resort for sure would have eaten it.
Now I see!! Brothers!
Great footage guys . Love it 🇦🇺🍺❤️👍
More chain for the anchor lads? Do you have 1.5 times boat length of chain on the anchor line? If not give it a thought! 8:46 LMAO the boys learn why chemistry is useful useful in real life. Cast Iron aka Metal plus acid AKA Citric Acid (Limes , lemons etc) and Vinegar ( acetic acid) just may just create a reaction. Good news is you have probably created some Hydrogen, bad news is it left the camp, but good news you got to taste the ferrous acetate and might have helped your body iron levels improve - Winning! The footage is awesome Az and Jack, well done, 10:41 was that a ships berthing line or a massive tow line? 16:00 did you guys dress up for sword fight club, getting ready for the equinox?? No spoons?? Think chop sticks or use the cray tail shell, if you have no coconuts or clam shells work good! Thanks for sharing the fun and entertainment. Stay safe! 🤗
You guys are TOTALLY AWESOME!
Thanks mate, back at you!
No More Tears - how to prepare an onion the easy and safe way.
The compounds in an onion that make you cry are mostly concentrated in the root and the shoot.
Thus, when you cut through these sections you release these compounds and find yourself in floods of tears.
To combat this, instead of cutting directly down the centre line, cut a diagonal such that you cut to the left of the shoot and to the right of the root (or vice versa).
Now you have a halved onion, with the root and shoot intact.
Make a triangular cut either side of the root and shoot, such that they form wedges that can be pulled from the onion, again without cutting into them. Put them straight into the bin / outside.
You should now have two halves with wedges cut from them, the skin forms points at the corners of the cut points. This is a really handy place from which to start peeling - instead of trying to get a knife under a round, wide edge, you have a point that makes it easy to start from. Just peel back and start chopping.
Great vids man!
The disappointment on your face az with a casual, ahh shit ay. Priceless
At least you got your iron for the day!
Lol I’m glad the last meal came out good I was kinda worried at first 🤣
Wild!
Thought I'd watch it again .Man you have me worried about that machete when opening the coconuts . This is in reference to 1:00 , in a world where anything can happen . I would venture not to help any bad times along . I don't know , maybe it's my Mother in me .
Living on a diet of crayfish doesn't seem too bad actually . I'm glad to hear that the boat didn't " wander away " . Alright , " Good on Ya' " get some rest .
Thank you for taking the time to get the hook out of the shark’s mouth. I appreciate the sustainable lifestyle your channel promotes and exhibits.
I appreciate that! Thats what its all about, so our great great great grandkids can do it too
Amazing !!! This video so cool
Glad you liked it!!
Az bra..it's me Yoyo 🤣 man it's been ages bro..didn't think I would see you on CZcams 🤣 good to see your contents..keep it coming bro 🔥💯
Yoyo! Haha Miss you man. Thanks for watching. Where you now? Over island way? Keen to catch up!
Acid foods are a no no for cast iron,
Too bad you do not have any plastic bowls.
I would look for some jug bottoms you could use as bowls.
Agreed. Learnt that the hard way. wont be happening again haha
@@BacktoBasics
It looked like you lost some of the seasoning on your cast iron, save one of those fish skins and use it to oil the pan after cleaning and cooking if you do not have extra food oils.
It is a hard thing to maintain on open fires, but can be done. Your food will taste better once the seasoning is restored.
Good luck out there.
A metal receptacle leaves a metallic taste when marinading also. I’ve been a subscriber for a longtime and love all your content guys.
Good stuff fellas, not sure why you guys don't wear sandals in the tropics...too much to cut your feet on :o)
does that say B 2 B in the clowds on 0.16 in the video?
Is it not real sketchy swimming and spearing in Croc infested waters?
are you guys up north?
Cast Iron frypans are great but never with vinegar completely ruins the finish you had on the pan as well. You will probably have to re-season the frypan.
You need to get ur videos in order bud
👍💪
you guys eat like royalty
Don't you guys know, vinegar on cast iron = RUST instantly......
I know that now! hahaha
👍
Awesome adventure 💝💖💘💟❣️🥰👋👌🧡🫶🏻💞🩶💜🖤🩷🤍💚😍❤️🔥💙💕💛💗🤎💓🩵❤️👍😘🤗
good to see you guys tell the truth about the cooking method not working, now i wont try cheers boys !
haha happy to help!
Never put vinegar in a cast iron pan it will remove all the seasoning from the pan thats the bad taste you got. I hope you reseasoned it if you didnt it will rust
👏👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷
- Catches nice size trout.
- Throws it back.
- Proceeds to complain about not having food for the day.
Do you hear yourself, mate?!
How can you run out of water when you’re floating on water?
That is the question.
Is it a shortage of water or a shortage of thinking?
what Ted think of your adventure ?
Thought we were half mad. but loved it.
I Don't get why you had to anchor the boat so far out from shore, there was plenty of depth closer to shore.
It's not an ocean liner.
Tides can be several metres in height. The bottom was stoney. As the tide leaves it does not simply get lower, it washes up and down with the waves, smashing the hull on the stones and putting great holes in it.
Sub-optimal that, it's generally better to keep the water on the outside of a boat.
Correct guys, we came in on the high and it was dropping out a fair way. Ive been airing on the side of caution to wake up always with the boat there, hole free haha
@@BacktoBasics
Fair call, I'm used to 1 to 2 m tide swings
Don't like your cast iron pot. It looked a bit rusty.
I have a lot to learn with the iron pot cooking haha
Where is this please?
North East Australia Coastline
Where is Fran? She is a superstar of the movies.....
Not all videos have everyone mate! Can watch which ever you choose:)
Just to mention... the head or body of a lobster is full of meat. Also spearing a lobster without checking if is pregnant is also a bad idea.
Where is Fran?
Sausage fest on an island 🤣
I cut out the part where couple of brothers were but naked 90% of the time hahah
may not be your first choice but im sure its no problem for you Quagmire just get them to put on a cocnut husk hair and boobies and they good to go
Where is Jack & Fran ?
On the other side of Australia mate
Nothing wrong with a little iron in your diet 🐵
Where’s the pretty lady ???
Their channel is split by both of them
2:28 @DavidHaney the cut is real quick, but she is smiling away dancing!
You guys need to split this channel as there's good potential to develope two brands as apposed to one. It's confusing.
Not sure on the confusion mate? One adventure channel, multiple adventures. We are considering another b2b channel, but for farming/ living off the land .
Sorry no Homo!
