I really hope that the Philippine Government will do all necessary actions to protect our countries treasures, especially we need to do something with our ever growing population. More humans means more land is needed to meet our needs and for this poor birds and other creature means lesser habitat.

Nature still have mercy on us giving us these magnificent birds of prey, while our mountains continue deforesting bec of these greedy mayors and governors,,,pede po ba ang iboto naman natin ung pauunlarin ang agriculture ng bansa natin hindi yung puro import nlang ng import tapos logging ng logging...
Educate locals(tribesman etc) . if we only have the mentally of protecting them(not only eagles) we would see our real treasure not just treasures in mining:)

Alam nmin kong paano pangalagahan ang ibon n yan...kaya wag mo sabihing mag aral p kami ng husto....hnd kami gaya ng ibang lugar...alam n nga nilang bawal bumaril ng eagle bat binaril prin nila dpat cla ang pagsabihan mo ng mag aral cla nt husto xe cla wala clang utak...

Ramoj Danggan Philippine eagle kasi nag hahanap sila ng mapapangasawa at mag tatayo ng sariling teritoryo parang isang lugar isang pamilya ng agila ang naka tira. Un lang ang pag kaka alam ko po.
Ang NATIVE range naman kasi ng philippine eagle ay matatagpuan sa 4 major islands ng pinas :
MINDANAO, LEYTE, SAMAR at LUZON. kaya d nakapagtatakang meron nyan sa Apayao dba?

Shunynn Sorry to say The Great Philippine Eagle is the biggest Eagle in the world, while the bald American Eagle is not even in Top 3 Biggest Eagle in the World. Kun ikaw yun Phil Eagle, okey lang sayu the Great Nation America bestowed the bald Eagle it’s National Bird status, while the Philippine Eagle the real Biggest Eagle in the world does not get the same recognition it deserves more, do you think that makes sense or is that fair at all? It’s just right we give honor to The King Bird, The Great Philippine Eagle, the status and symbol it deserves as our National Treasure.

no. Philippine eagle's habitat includes Luzon, Mindanao, Leyte and another island in the Visayas. They're not secluded to just Davao.
Seeing the eagle's again in its previous habitat is a good sign that there is hope in preserving them.
meron din Philippine Eagle sa Cordillera at Sierra Madre mountain range ng Luzon, meron din sa Samar at Leyte... sa Davao ang pinakamaraming nakaka-Survive kaya kala ng iba sa Davao lang ito meron... wag sanang papatayin or saktan, bugawin lang kung nakakaperwisyo...

Yes it's the Philippine eagle but for the first time discovered nesting in Luzon. they are just calling it luzon eagle because it's super rare to find the eagle in luzon.
