Hopefully this game will at least put Moyes' criticism on pause for now because with this result and performance, we've shown that we CAN play good attacking football, we CAN play well, we CAN score goals and more than anything, it has shown us that when Moyes' tactics work they work REALLY well so hopefully he'll get a little bit of praise this week instead of his usual criticism

Paqueta affect
Bowen is still young, of course, but I think he deserves the captain's armband. After Declan Rice we have several leaders: Bowen, Paqueta, Ward Prowse. But we've had Bowen longer than anyone else 👀
I still think Alvarez is the best choice, considering he captained Ajax and captains Mexico. I also don’t think Paqueta would be a good captain at all.

We won this game because of Paqueta NOT Moyes.
Moyes has had weeks to show everyone he knows what he’s doing without him and he’s failed every single time.
Regardless if Paqueta was directly involved in the goals or not, it’s the morale and confidence he gives others as they don’t have to pass to the likes of Soucek knowing he’s losing it as soon as he takes a touch.
We have to keep Paqueta at ALL costs.

For you Moyes outers, it’s all moyes fault when we lose and nothing to do with the players but when we win it’s all the players and nothing to do with moyes. You are a clown mate. It wasn’t just Paqueta was it, it was the whole team. Clearly Moyes got into them before the game and rallied them together after a poor run. You are the biggest dipstick if you really thought we wasn’t going to have a bad run at some point in the season. All teams go through it and I’m pretty sure we have gotten past that now and will kick on again and have a decent end to the season. You numpty saying it’s all Paqueta but who actually brought Paqueta in the first place? Yes he is our star player along with Bowen but a result is still a team effort.
Brentford played 3 at the back so it’s obvious moyes would play an attacking style and exploit the extra space but that isn’t going to work against every team. We tried it against man United and got picked off 3 times. I’m pretty sure Moyes knows exactly what he’s doing. We had a bad spell but up until that point we have actually been good, he won us our trophy, built most of the team, spent well over 4 years and eventually some players will need to be replaced. Like the defence for starters but I’m pretty sure Moyes is capable of filling the holes we need in time but ffp is a thing to consider and moyes doesn’t control what the board are willing to spend. He can only do with what he has at his disposal. We are not Man City, we are not Liverpool, we are West Ham. Despite money spent it doesn’t even come close to what any big six team have spent over the years. No where near.
We have enjoyed a pretty good period under moyes and no other manager would have done anything better. Pellegrini spent £200 mill and was taking us straight to the championship, moyes is net spend is £240 mill and took us from a relegation battle to European football. To say he it’s all the players and not Moyes is the dumbest comment I have ever read when in fact he was the one who built the squad in the first place.
