The PS2 seems to have the worst frame rate of the three. Xbox seems to have the sharpest image, although all three are really close.
The Xbox/Gamecube version has a better Framerate than the PS2 Version. The rest seems to be fairly equal

All are great versions. Xbox and GameCube benefit from a locked 60fps, while PS2 has an unlocked framerate which hangs around the 30s most of the time but suffers from lots of judder.
This with Kraven's levels? Now I see why the Xbox version was considered the best.
remember that PS2 was very hard to program back then, so most (if not all) PS2 early games had a lot of problems and awful N64 plastic textures and unstable framerates, even with Dreamcast ports.
XBox: best anti-aliasing. More windows with reflections outside. Darker and a bit blurry. Short loading.
GC: Brighter textures. Sharper graphics. Average loading.
PS2: slightly better light effects. Longest loading and worst aliasing.
On Xbox characters have better shadows. Ps2 and GC only got a circle shadow beneath the characters other than Spider-man. Xbox also have better textures in places. Just pointing out what I have noticed, when I played those. :)

You forgot the most important: PS2 runs at 30 fps, Gamecube and Xbox run at 60 fps.
Xbox version is my favorite in my opinion, because it has Kraven level.

I grew up with the Xbox version. I definitely like the Xbox version the best, mainly because of the Kraven levels.
I have also played the GameCube version via Dolphin. Never played the PS2 version.

The Nintendo gamecube version was the popular version PS2 has 2 points XBOX has 3 points and Nintendo gamecube has 1 point the winner is the XBOX version.
So, let's see.
Ps2: Frame inconsistent
Xbox: Crisp, bright, and has extra Kraven stage
Gamecube: Well-lit
PC (Yes, there was a pc port of this that is the console version unlike whatever spider-man 2 did): Awful Controls, but good-looking
The definitive winner is Xbox cause of the extra kraven stage.
Kind of odd but interesting how in one scene, the Xbox has the best textures, in another, the Gamcube has the best textures, and another, the PS2 has the best textures. Interesting how they chose to optimize specific objects. They're largely equal though.
Xbox was the most powerful console of those three, so it's improved visuals make sense.
That being said they all look pretty good for an early game in the 6th generation

To anyone wondering why is the ps2 version so "choppy" it's because it's the PAL version of the game, which runs at 50hz and 25fps instead of 60hz and 30fps on NTSC.
This game is literally just Neversoft's Spider-Man with the movie style skinned over it..

@@ClassicGamer9044 It's pretty bad, seeing as Neversoft's Spider-Man games were good, but old and Activision decided to be lazy, here. I hate laziness. They couldn't be bothered to make a fully new game until Spider-Man 2, which they were about to re-use Neversofts blueprints yet again..

@@ClassicGamer9044 So, that's my point. Activision couldn't be bothered to do something new except the graphics, they reuse assets and gameplay a lot back then. Which was my gripe for this game. I wanted a brand new Spider-Man THE MOVIE game, not an updating looking Spider-Man PS1 game lol.

Xbox wins. It has exclusive Kraven levels.
Xbox has to be the best one here simply because of the fact that every enemies have dynamic shadows, whereas on GC and Ps2, only Spiderman has dynamic shadows while everyone else has a circle below them- which looks inconsistent.
The PC port also looks inferior, even spiderman himself doesn't have dynamic shadow on the pc port.
the PS2 was known to have the weakest hardware of the 3 consoles, so it had a 10 second load screen and slow performance while the Gamecube had better hardware with a 5 second load screen, though the Xbox was impressive with some advanced hardware that could render 1080i resolution out of the box, so it was impressive at the time

I'd say the Gamecube and Xbox are superior as they manage to retain a solid 60 fps, in comparison the PS2 looks lower, and less fluid as a result.
I grew up with the PS2 version but XBOX does look the best, and has the fastest loading and I recently found out that it has a Kraven the Hunter mission
I have both the PS2 and Xbox versions while I did grew up with the PS2 version I’d say the Xbox is the overall better version.

It's hard to say. Should have some kind of equipment to see the exact frame rates. But these are PAL versions, so the refresh rate is 50hz, but there was an option for 60hz if I could remember which one.
I played it recently on GameCube and it seemed to target 60, but I don't think it held it that well.
The Xbox version in NTSC runs at 480p 60fps, the GameCube tends to target 60 fps but its unstable, and the PS2 version is just awful with terrible frame-rate and lower 512x448i graphics.

I think the worst version is the version of the ps2, because it has more jaggies than the other versions, and has some parts with lower textures, the part of the video that appears a billboard with the car 4:59, the car and writing is very blurred in the ps2, the wall behind in 3:44 too .

Which is surprising because, often, the Gamecube version of games ends up having worse textures, presumably because of disk space.
MetroidJunkie that's what I was thinking too, in this case the game cube had better textures than the PS2, even with less disk space.

PS3 and PS4 are not only much stronger than their rival but they are also give you MUCH BETTER exclusives.
PS3 also gave you blu ray and 3D while shitbox 360 has given you a disc option that was dead at arrive and was the main reason why they had to dumb down the games for PS3 and PC.
Same thing with Xbone one. It is by far the weakest console this generation (Nintendo is amazing so it doesn't count) and is AGAIN the reason that they have to dumb down the games so it can play on shitbox too.
There is a GOOD reason why PS exclusives look far better.
But hey heads up! You will have the opportunity to play 4K games like PC users did for YEARS in November by paying FAR MORE than you need to get the same experience from Windows 10.
