HOW TO GRAFT BOUGAINVILLEA, RARE VARIETY

Bougainvillea grafting rare variety,
How to graft bougainvillea easy steps
1. Cut stem of the root stock where you want to graft the scion
2. Remove leaves from the scion and gently make a v cut at the scion's base.
3. Slice the diameter of the root stock stem where you want to place the scion.
4. Cross the root stock and scion together, important note is to properly meet the green bark portion are at maximum contact for faster healing.
5. Wrap the graft with grafting tape just to press them firmly and allow them to have closed contact together.
6. Cover the whole grafted stem with transparent plastic coverings, transparency makes you check them more easily when new leaves have grown.
Of course you will need:
-Root stock - base plant
-Scion - the one we want to graft
-Cutters
-Grafting tape or electrical tape
-Disposable transparent plastic bags
Grafting is the act of placing a portion of one plant (bud or scion) into or on a stem, root, or branch of another (stock) in such a way that a union will be formed and the partners will continue to grow. The part of the combination that provides the root is called the stock; the added piece is called the scion.

@@milagroslott7286 ok po maam, sa akin po, pag nagpapataba ako ng bougy nag hahard pruning po ako. tinatangal ko yung mga unwanted na mga sanga kasi nakakapayat po yan, after ko mag hard pruning nag aapply ako ng cow dung or dumi ng baka,, if wala pwede vermicast or garden compost, ganito nalang maam gagawa nalang ako ng video tungkol jan salamat po ng marami,

Wala ako idea maam.. di po kasi ako nagbebenta.. pero sa mga tumingin ng graft ko hahabulin daw nila up to 20k itong black maria at yellow mashuri ko na graft... Pero ayaw ko po. Kasi collection arts ko ito eh... Cguro pag gipit na gipit ako pwede..hehe salamat po..
