  • Today, I made a simple autumn card and answered lots of your questions about all things ink blending! I know that it can be challenging at times so I reviewed the basics of ink blending and talked about how to choose colors that blend well along with some tips and tricks for the smoothest blend possible. Thank you so much for joining me! And remember the color circle and never skip more than one color when blending!

    Bristles are NOT all the same and they matter when it comes to smooth ink blending. It’s good that you’re explaining the brushes.

    A family member requested a sunset card and I realized that I needed to get up to speed fast on ink blending. I watched your video from beginning to "blend" and can't wait to give it a try! ;) Thanks so very much for all of the information you share.     I didn’t realize this is what I need! Thanks so much for this! I’ve never heard about how to use proper colors and blend them together. I learned Roy G Biv in freshman college class in astronomy😁. Don’t remember much else. Thanks for the humor & greta music Tom. You two are a great blend🤗

    Thank you. This was a wonderful explanation of color theory. After 20 years of copying color recipes, I really feel empowered to create my own with your clear illustration of a color wheel, changing the traditional primary wheel to other palettes.

I do not have to wait to find color combos I like by watching people and seeing it works, I now can figure it out on my own!!! This just took my crafting to a whole new level. Again, THANK YOU!

    I was an unbeliever about card stock---- I bought Gina K card stock and will not go anywhere else. It made such a difference in my stamping, coloring and blending. I have been following Gina since the beginning...... GO GINA K DESIGINS !

    My skin color has cool tones, so that’s what I gravitate towards in my stamping. I use the royal colors a lot. I always choose pink over salmon or peach. Thank you for making the color wheel with warm tone ink cubes! It helps me to understand where I need to experiment. My mom has a lot of warm tones in her skin, so she likes to use peach and salmon. Now I can make a card in her fave colors.

    You are awesome, Gina! Your explanation of the color wheel was the best! I would love to see more color “blendable” videos on your CZcams channel as I do not do Facebook either. Love Tom and his words of the day...priceless! Wanted to let you know that I am watching your CZcams videos while I am walking on my treadmill.....makes the time go by faster...I am getting a twofer....watching and walking...can’t be that!     A+++ great video! I think using the ink cubes like you did to demonstrate the color wheel was very helpful to many. Just another reminder of what a great teacher you are. And Tom was right - it was the be all blend all :) I get such a kick out of his word play!

    Learned in art class, the 3 primary colors...
    Red, Yellow, & Blue
    They can't be made to themselves but---they together give off all other secondary colors.
