What I found fascinating about this project, (that I STILL watch about 3 times a year), is that as an avid fan of the original books, even though at a certain point, the show veered sooooo far from the books, I managed to continue loving the books, AND (from the first few scenes),love the show too.

It took me a while to follow the series, I only actually watched it when it was already in its penultimate season. And I confess that never has a series surprised me so much, it's no wonder that it became a reference pop culture. I didn't like the ending but I miss this series.
