He estado español por un ano. Necesito escuchar y leer más. Tu español lento es perfecto para mí.

I love this video. I think it would be a great idea to make a video like "Mexican Spanish for all-inclusive tourists". I will visit Mexico in December. Say, how would I ask a cleaning lady (camarera?) to clean only floor, if she doesn't know "piso"?

She knows piso! But you can say: “Por favor, limpie sólo el suelo.” The word “suelo” Can mean floor but it also means soil and ground. Some people still have dirt floors so that maybe where it came from ❤

I was told/asked if I learned Mexican Spanish because I said “ahorita” in Argentina and the man said: “Here we say, enseguida.”

Thank you for sharing your personal experience with the variations in Spanish from different countries and regions. Nice bit of detail. I’m still at what you would term level A1 so i really appreciate the English translation.

Thank you 😊 I try to learn one or two words every two weeks. That way I can retain them easier than learning a new one each day. It's very hard learning a new language when you're older. Even though I live in Mexico City and constantly interact with the local people. It's still hard many times understanding what they say when some of them speak so fast 😃 If they repeat what they say I usually understand.

Yes, learning languages is always a journey. We have to remeber all the time that is a long process but very fun and fulfilling. Thanks for sharing your experience.
