- I'm happy to get started on a new project! This one's a 1996 Suzuki RM250. I tear it down in this first video. Stay tuned for more.

I already want to see the work of art that will come out of there! 💪🏻🔥
This is so cool. I have two RM250s (an 84' and an 88') in a shed that I want to fully restore.
The 89' was my favorite in terms of looks.
@@madmarc yeah the 89' is beautiful
This is such a soothing video, the process itself is very arduous but still so tranquil.
Love the close-up of the camera . Off what you're doing
mad-marc is unmatched in the world
love all the close up shots :D well done!
Pure love dude! Greetings from Barna (Spain)
You just know this one's gona be MINT.
Instant sub!! I’m already picking up some great tips from your videos so thank you! I’m currently trying to save a ‘95 YZ250
I have a 1996 RM 250 that I bought in 96 and I’m 43 now lol. I won a shit load of races on it back in the day.
. I had a lot of other bikes since then and all 2Strokes. But out of all of my bikes my 96 Rm250 is still my favorite. Make no mistake though I have spent a ton of money on it and it is a Screaming Beast. It gives my 1998 Cr500 a run for it’s money.
You should post a walk-around video. Would love to see it.
Can’t wait to see the outcome 🎉
I just did a frame off rebuild on my 97 RM250! wish you luck!
Ueeeeaaahhhhhh Time
Laps….Côme on!
Fingers crossed for some gold rims.
Maybe... Haven't decided yet.
The handlebars lol
Also, the gate creeper shirt 🤘
🤘

È fantastico come lavori ti stimo tantissimo 💯😍❤🔝
Nice work👍
Thank you!
Very cool. This is my jelly face.
really nice, i have a 1997 rm250 🙂 she looks allost the same. i love this bike. i would love to have got it also rebuilt but i cant afford a full rebuild. for now i ride her on the track. she is allmost as bad of a condition as yours, but she runs and i just got her a new piston at least. the forks are the only thing i could rebuild a little bit, at least to a point were they work normaly. cant wait to see thee final bike 🙂
Nice!
J'en ai une pareille dans le garage c'est vraiment nice!
I like those 49mm conventional forks
I'm really looking forward to using them.
J'adore t'es vidéos 👍👍
Merci, Roland!
Mantaapp....👍👍
Hello im from Indonesia
i love Suzuki 😍😍
Love your videos. You should build a bike then sweepstake it to where someone can win it and take it home.
That's not a bad idea! I have another project I'm already planning for next year. For that one I think I'm going to auction it off.
Tech tip, you can use air pressure to blow out the pistons in the brake calipers. It’s fast and easy
its also what suzuki recommends you do in their service manual
Nice 💪
Awesome
Awesome! Love this. But how are you keeping up with your parts and where they go as you tear down?
It's not so hard to remember where everything goes... Plus I'll have recordings 😁
A digital camera picture or video is your friend.
If you do the gold valve, I’d suggest getting a lectron carb. Go all out
I’m curious to know the average cost on the parts. I know some are more than others because you have to replace certain items.
That’s amazing work! How do you keep track of the bolts?
Thanks man! The big bolts are easy because they can only go in one place. And the smaller ones, I can usually tell by looking at them. Or you can check part numbers and sort them by size before you reinstall them.
I don't know who you are, but whoever you are, you seem to be a decent dirt bike mechanic. You seem to know what you're doing. You're taking stuff off in the proper order and stuff. And not just you know willie nilly take any bolts out
You could use a nice set of spanner wrenches though...
🔥🔥
Please, paint the frame in yellow just like Pastrana's 125. Looks much better!
Great video! Where can I get that hand crank impact tool your using, with the sliding handle? Thanks again for the video!
Oh that's just a regular sliding wrench, and I hit the end of it with a rubber mallet
Cool shirt dude. Gate creeper. Looks like grave digger.
A good base for rebuilding. I see that the bike has not been serviced, but there are no modifications (like transplanting parts from another motorcycle model or welding parts) 😁
Yes this is how I feel too. I was expecting a lot more surprises but it seems like a solid base.
Your skills are awesome.....both your mechanical skills and your video skills. Do you keep track of the hours spent on these builds?
Thank you Matthew! It's hard to keep track of the hours. People always ask but there's no easy way to calculate it, plus filming takes at least as much time as the work itself depending on what I'm doing. Like in this video, you have to move the camera and adjust the zoom and focus for every bolt, or change the height of the tripod, or even move the bike for better lighting... I think there's like 13 hours of footage in this 9 minute video. Without the filming I could have probably tore it down in 5 or 6 hours. Maybe less.
Is that a dremel you use Marc?
@@ha11iday95 you mean on the broken tank bolt? Yes. Everywhere else is just a drill
@@madmarc yes mate those tools are ideal did you get the bits as a set? I’m looking into getting a set myself. They’re the best for those knuck n cranny jobs.
Будет круто)
stay factory colors with it marc...you got an A- for that last kawasaki on account of the colorways...
😮
what camera do you shoot with?
I shot this video and the last RM video with a Canon EOS M50 I recently got. All previous videos I shot with an old EOS T3 rebel
Ti ammiro tantissimo
👌
For real
Too bad those things are hard to come by where I'm at. And even if they did, they'd be mad expensive.
The real reason for the music was to cover all those curse words 😅 looked a bitch to pull apart. Looking forward to the rest of the build 👍
I only cussed after I broke those fucking handlebar bolts.
😍😍🤩😍🤩
Always apply heat to the stuck fastener itself, not the material it is threaded into.
heat expands, always the area around the fastner
@@ek.chadith5092 Heat does expand, but it doesn't work like that in the field. Try it and see for yourself. Think induction heaters and how they are made.
When i take it all apart like that i ended up being too lazy to put it back together and have a lot of leftover bolts
My brother just sold his 1995 rm125 it sat for 3 years and started first kick it was a mint motor and he sold it for $300
Too shorttt 😢😢😢😢 to much works for me! Incredible Time laps…
👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏

Get rid of the noise.
The title of this video is a bit Misleading. All you did was take it apart. No building at all.😑🤣
I'm building suspense!
