Funny that you suggest using them on a friend's cube to mess with them, I got a coworker into cubing and do random patterns on his whenever left unattended but usually just use 3x3 blind method swaps to do it bc lazy.
Funnest thing to do though was twisting a corner when he was still new and didnt know that was unsolvable. He thought he kept messing up for a solid few hours before I went and showed him whats up lol
I might did something else for patterns for wire . .. but it looks cool

The patterns look even better on some of these special cubes. A super christmasy looking pattern is the kilt U' R2 L2 F2 B2 U' R L F B' U F2 D2 R2 L2 F2 U2 F2 U' F2. And I also like the 4 cross pattern U2 R2 L2 F2 B2 D2 L2 R2 F2 B2

Hello Tingman. I have watched your videos for like two years now. I remember seeing the video where you unbox the Clover Pyraminx, and failed to solve it. I hope you revisit that puzzle, and i have i hint for you. It is just a 3x3 mod like the mastermorphix, and you can solve it exactly like the mastermorphix (the petals are the edge pieces and "the center" of the pyraminx, along side with the hidden pieces inside each petal are the corner, and the big edge pieces of the pyraminx are actually the center pieces of the 3x3)
I just got a new cube it was expensive but I really want to learn how to solve a rubix cube for the first time I got the v3 tornado I’ve coated with magnets I seen a lot of people recommend it
Vertical stripes is just permuting all the corner rows if that makes sense!

Tingman, fun fact I discovered just trying it: if you do the cube in a cube in a cube exactly 3 times in a row, you'll end up with a solved cube.

Now comes the nasty Part: you exchange two oposing center pieces so all 6 lines are complete and give it to your friend to slove. 🙂

x is like rolling the whole cube foreward like a wheel.
y is turning it clockwise (while staing on the D face),
z is rolling sideways.

i am going to rewrite it for yalls:
R2 S2 R2 y R2 S2 r2 x z R2 S2 R2 equals:
R2 F2 B2 L2 B2 L2 R2 B2 R2 U2 D2 L2 (plus switching the Blue and green center cup. starting in WCA orientation)
leads to six stripes on six surfaces. oposing surfaces have parallel stripes.
i find my first notation way easyer to memorize and execute tough.
