I auditioned for Avrils Band and the only reason they could give me for not giving me the Chance was that they wanted someone 3 years older than me as i was just 17 and they didn't want any legal issues. He didn't steal Casino 13's fanbase or anything did he? Cause you can't say they have to take the backseat to him. Give it time and Casino 13 will have a decent fanbase if they're good enough =].
