I've heard your story and I'm more encouraged, after high school I wanted to do journalism and specifically as a radio presenter coz I grew up listening to Sheila Mwanyigah but due to lack of funds I ended up in hotel industry and I'm a barista for a decade now when I started I didn't like the job but now I'm looking forward to opening my coffee shop in the near future 🙏🙏

Sadly this story is still true for many kids in Africa. Am not Kenyan but I can relate with the roll calling every break time for those who hadn't paid fees. I think edu must be free for all. We've lost so much potential of people because of this inequality.

I understand her lifes story,i brought up my children in those areas of huruma and mathare north and very familiar to that story.people there are happy and enjoy every minute.
I never felt unsecure though we knew how to cope quietly.
Now i live in a middle class neighbourhood but i see open provocation from neighbours like someone throwing waste papers into your compound etc but while in huruma such rudeness was not witnessed.
Im just so in love with how Lynne views life and how confident she is in her dreams.Truely one of my mentors .And being able to see her succeed and thrive and slowly achieve it gives me the confidence that i can to.keep up the good work adelle and thank you Lynne
