I stayed at this hotel in the winter of 1974 with three other friends. An elderly man at the bus station brought us there. What beautiful memories. The hotel had an old world charm. It was dusk and snow was thick on the ground and in front of our hotel, the golden rays of the setting sun lit up the slopes of the mountain. Never seen such an enchanting view. The charge was just 12 Rs for the four of us. We took walk in the snow bound paths. Some Tibetan children called out to us. Everything was so memorable. It was our first experience with snow. Looking at today's updated, modern-looking hotel, I miss the old rustic feel of the hotel I saw half a century ago. Tourists were few then unlike today's burgeoning middle class who are able to travel to all parts of India.
I had been to this hotel in 2015 June with my wife. We were here for around 3 days. I can relate to your review. This place is amazing. Every staff member behaved as if it was their own hotel and they were obliged to take care of the guest. They were so good. They had so many activities to keep the guests engaged like indoor games, housie event, DJ evening, star gazing. I remember the last day when we left at 4 in the morning the staff had already packed breakfast(sandwiches and Juice) for us so that we could eat on the way. We talk about hospitality and these people just loved by the very definition of it. Truly amazing stay..

The hotel cost is more than the services they give .there are many other hotels better than it and at a budgeted price I stayed at a hotel just near bus stand It was nice and totally budgeted had a comfortable stay.It was Hotel Himgiri recommend you to go there I
Spent at this hotel and felt that it money spent there was worth. Dalhousie is the best hill station❤
We stayed in this hotel 2 times and both times stay was amazing.at weekend they had bonfire and lots of games.i wish to go there again

glad you liked it...yes indeed its a beautiful place..I suggest that pls take a package where yu get breakfast & dinner as there are not many options outside the hotel for same...& they serve really nice buffet...
