Will the mother walk away with her cub or will she fight back and reclaim her stolen ibex?

Filmed on the Canon R5C and RF 800mm f5.6 L IS USM. With Snow Leopards sightings being as far as a mile away from me, even 1600mm with the 2x RF extender fell heavily short. Thanks to the super 35 crop mode on my 8k sensor, we were able to reach a filmable focal length of 2400mm in 5.9k RAW. Scaling that on a 4K DCI timeline, we reached an equivalent of 3360mm. Yeah, Snow Leopards can be far, man!

A snow leopard mother must make a difficult survival choice after an intruding male enters her territory and steals her ibex catch. Will she walk away with her year-old cub or decide to challenge the intruder and fight for what's rightfully hers? No matter her decision, the safety of her lone surviving cub must be paramount.

Excellent waiting for the last one
With today's social media being full with fake, cheesy, and nonsense content, this channel is a breath of fresh air. Not only the production quality is great, it's also educational, no-nonsense, engaging, and thrilling. The only downside is that this channel tests your patience a lot :D , but having said that it is not a cakewalk to produce a wildlife series where most of the elements are not in your control.
A cinematic masterpiece as always! Your work is truly inspiring. The choice of BGM, the narration, everything is just spot-on !!

Kenneth, I watched both videos, great work. I am planning to visit Ladakh next year and have two questions: 1, Which month did you film the 1st video?? 2, Is it possible to get good still shots? Just that at Ladakh the animals appear so far away that I have some doubts that my 800mm with a X2 TC will give sharp images, mainly due to haze. I am planning the trip in February. Thanks very much.

Quick question y are you using twin legs for your tripod.
Y not a lighter combination?
The tripod in this video is what I consider 'light' haha. Pro wildlife filmmaking needs heavy-duty gear, especially with long focal lengths and blizzard like winds. When I'm shooting broadcast documentaries, my tripod alone weighs 18 kgs. 😅
I really hope you would reply. How do you record audio along with video. I know most is afterfx but also in most clips it is actually realtime audio (saying it coz it syncs with mouth movement of animal). How to get this without recording myself or people around me? I do only photography but eagerly want to try videography. I always skip it just coz of irritating voices.
