Very helpful! I’m taking notes in preparation to purchasing quail eggs, incubator, brooder, quail “house”, feeder, water, quail food...ALL the things to give coturnix quail a happy life!
Thank you! Let us know if you have any questions. We have a live every Wednesday night at 7PM. We are also available through facebook.
Thanks for taking the time to describe the processes and useful information new bird owners will need to help them have successful and better hatch rates!!! Have a great day!!!!
Thanks for the kind words and watching the video. Glad some people are getting useful information out of it or think it will be useful to others.
Great video, guys! Super clear, easy to follow... and fun!
Thank you, Jasmine!
Thanks for your information..👍.
You are very welcome glad we could help out.
Loved this, especially the beginning 🤣
Thank you! It was a lot of fun to make this!
Okay but the sketch at the beginning 😂
Thanks. It sure was fun to make.
That egg separation tip is so helpful! I am going to use that for my next hatches. Thanks!
You’re welcome. We use this all the time it’s a quick easy way to separate chicks.
Great job as usual! Teamwork makes the Dreamwork. (Hey, did you notice your package didn't have a shipping label on it.... ha ha ) Make a mention for those that "don't" have the turners... Loved the candling.. showed the good and the not good.
Lol yes and the delivery was very fast haha. And yes, good point! Some folks don't have turners. Should have added that they need to be hand turned 4-6 x/ day!
And thank you!
Omg you guys are Lifesavers thank you so much
You guys definitely deserve a follow
Thanks. Glad you found it helpful! Happy hatching!
Very good video you guys are getting good at this !
Thanks. Working hard on providing good content.
New to your channel, first time to watch your video. Absolutely loved this one. We are new in quail and one of our questions is, in our last hatch we had a 60 to 65% hatch. The majority hatched on days 17 and 18. 10 % of them hatched on days 19 and 20. Does it usually take 4 days to complete a hatch?
It is perfectly normal for that to happen in some cases. Normally ours hatch all at once on day 18 and we don't have anymore hatch after that but different incubators work a little different especially when it comes to heat. That is usually what happens when you have late or early hatches is the heat is either too hot or too cold you might also have cold or hot spots in your incubator. You can try putting a couple thermometers in different places to find any of those cold or hot spots.
Which incubator do you prefer or like more out of the two you have here? Both are available on FB market and ones way more then the other 😅
We suggest the nurture right 360.
Day you set the eggs is day 0, not day 1
Yes.
