I saw them for the first time in 1965 in Manchester UK though they only lasted about fifteen minutes before a crowd of girls rushed the stage and that was the end of it lol. I was already gigging three nights a week myself. Friends of mine who were a couple of years older where one of the local supports for a different show. When they finished their short set they had to stay down the front of the stage and help pass the girls that fainted back to the St Johns
ambulance workers. Talk about it's only rock and roll. I didn't see them again until the No Filter show in Miami which sadly turned out to be Charlie's last live performance. They were so good we caught the Tampa show and will be at Camping World Stadium on 6/3. I'm still playing out at the age of 73. They are a true inspiration to keep doing what you love.firstaifirstai

I was there for my 13th show! The smile on everyone’s face in the end is all the reviews someone should need! 1989 Steel Wheels right next Door at the old Houston Astrodome was my first show! The Voodoo Lounge tour was at the Astrodome too. I sat front row! That was the most incredible concert I have ever witnessed! The Stone are awesome every time but that night I don’t think anyone in history of music even The Stones could play better than they did that night. I like to think of it as I saw The Greatest Live Performance in the history of Rock N Roll that night!

Great job recording this important day in Stones history Robert. How lucky it was you were beside me the whole time. We had probably the best spot in the stadium. We could see the whole stage. Mick was right in front of us so much of the show with no one between us and him. Did you not get a piece of ‘Get Off My Cloud’ ? My favorite song of the night. When I hear it I remember why I’ve always loved seeing this band do it live. It echos in my memory so much from all around the world so many times. Glad also you got some of that insufferable police porta poddy patrol cop. Imagine how excited he was to threaten those senior women who were desperate to use one portable bathroom right beside us. Give them a ‘criminal’ record he promised. If anyone in the police sees this, or from the stadium - hang your heads in shame at the terrible job he did representing you. People who payed thousands, yes thousands, to be here this day promised an early entry for all the extra we paid, were instead treated as the worst low criminals because people needed to use a bathroom so badly, the women had to lie down on the concrete and wriggle under the fence to get through. How I would love to get that loser cop in front of lawful authority and make him repeat his threats. However, great job on getting the excitement of an opening Stones tour night.

Repulsivo clasismo. Menuda mierda.
