Thanks,from South Africa.
I really enjoy your channel. You have taught me a a lot.
That's awesome! Thanks so much for following along!
I like the tractor tracks in the garden. It gives it a real garden look!
Upstate NY asking where are all the rocks?
Very interesting
My ground is pretty soft, do I need to plow before hand? Have my grandpa's old disc harrow, never done this before, so it's all learning for me...
Plowing in the fall/early winter will turn the surface vegetation over, so it rots/breaks down and adds great nourishment back to the soil. Then, in the spring, you can use the harrow and/or tiller to further prep the seedbed. That'll net you the best results! we use an old railroad track on our disc works great
Nice
id like to see yall try that in the grass
How is disc harrow attached to tractor??
Do I require a high drawbar pull for pulling that disc harrow??? how many lbs at least?? thx.
How much horse power to pull them?
Its much easier on that sandy land. We have black land, and takes more that a few passes
Is this better or worse or just different than a pto driven tiller?
A pto driven tiller does a better job
Cost wise they cost about the same your box Taylor will probably do a better job but it will have a hell of a time doing a good job and some of those dag gum Pharm and Pharm and somebody is ground if it doesn’t have a good day is to break it up first I did love the watch box Taylor bounce up and down in a rock guard but every man has his own poison and every man’s daddy told him help make a roast right when I got old enough straight rows disappeared
@@kenlangham337 uh...what?!
My granddaddy fabricated the first double plow before they were even on the market. He just put two together. It's a true story
I don't doubt he made his own double plow, but not the first. The Stuart double plow was being manufactured and sold in the 1850s. It was invented by a slave in Mississippi.
Looks like south GA Red Clay
North carolina red clay
Rs money betao
A bit of overkill on the size of your tractor.
Have a look at my video...New Zealand Hill Country Discs
