Just for perspective, RM was the baby of this group. He was only 20 that time and the others I believe are Gen X. It speaks volumes that veterans would invite him to be featured and he really held his own and brought a lot of character into the song.
i agree on both aspects, he did bring a lot to the song, and its awesome they work together at all... they seemingly mesh very well and enjoy each others company
RM is the first rapper in the idol industry Tiger jk ever respected. RM is the reason he changed his mind about idol rappers. They are very close, in another one of their collabs RM called Tiger jk dad as in father of khiphop.
That's awesome.. but at the same time you shouldn't pigeonhole a person because of their surroundings. There is talent everywhere, but it's cool for tiger to realize this and change his outlook
Bizzy the third member of MFBTY has been a long-time partner of Tiger JK. When DJ Shine left Drunken Tiger, Bizzy replaced him.
RM would work with Tiger JK one more time in the final Drunken Tiger album (Tiger's song didn't like the word drunken so he retired the name). No MV for it that time, but the track is called Timeless. Though Tiger promised to work with RM again after Buckubucku, by the time he was working on the Drunken Tiger album, he felt BTS had gotten too big for RM to have time to work with him, but then RM reached out to him to ask to be on the album. Funny enough it was recently announced that RM would be working with Tiger, in the form of Balming Tiger, which is an underground hip hop group.
They released two MVs around the same time. Buckubucku is the more stripped-down MV and is obviously the more rap-focused one. The other is Bang Diggy Bang Bang. It isn't as hard as Buckubucku but is still a really fun song. Each MV contains a reference to the other one.
So yeah, this is Yoon Mirae going harder on raps, since you said you haven't really seen it. If you want more of her just rapping, there is a video called "Tasha's 15 best verses in English" which just shows off a bunch of her raps. The one from Buckubucku is there. I think the only other one that has a music video on there is Get It In (if you do watch it, I suggest checking out the Korean version). She also has KawiBawiBo which came out after and is certainly up there for my favorite songs from her.
For the softer side of MFBTY, I would suggest. Angel or The Cure. If you want something harder and with guitars, their most recent release as a group was in 2019 with Dream Catcher. That one also includes a cameo from someone you might know.
Things like this are a cool way to get to know different artists and see the ones you know in a different way. I think it's cool that RM still works with ppl even tho he obviously doesn't need to.
I'll for sure check out everything you mentioned here and try to get any of them with MVs on the channel

I never listened to them before, but I just checked out a couple songs because of your comment... They go hard.. and the song titled Run the Jewels is the intro song for "This is not happening" the comedy central stand up show which Ive seen every episode from, now I know where the song came from... Thank you very much

i thought they saved the best for last with rm/yoon mirae. they had the most memorable verses in the song. tiger jk was also good. i hope you react to more of bts collabs/solos/group songs such as change- wale ft rm, chicken noodle soup- j-hope ft becky g, agust d- agust d and for the vocal line: my time- jungkook, stigma- v, moon- jin and serendipity- jimin
I'm loving this direction, I'm sure we will be checking out more songs in this genre
