@@Lspacehopper The original is amazing. Yet I still think Chris did it better. If you've heard Lewis sing live his music is right to the edge of his ability - he's not that gifted as a vocalist. He' amazing because his writing is amazing, and he uses every bit of his vocal ability, which the song is tailored too (advantage of writing your own songs). Chris is just a much better vocalist and does everything Lewis does, but it' so much easier for him that his live performance doesn't show all the flaws Lewis does when he can't hit or hold the notes.
You know how you can tell someone is truly talented at what they do? Listen to the audience while he sings, they are dead quiet. You have captivated everyone with your voice. True talent! I also love that he recognises this as magnificently written song.

I am actually glad he DIDN'T win American Idol. It seems he has gotten more exposure because he didn't win.
