I Snuck My Dog Into IKEA in Sweden

- We usually tend to follow the rules, however when you have just gotten a new puppy and all you want to do is go shopping, you may have to bend them. In this weeks episode we take our 7 month old puppy, Matcha the Maltese to a few stores, including one of the IKEA stores in Sweden. Tag along as we go into stealth mode and go undercover during our latest shopping spree.

A little about us 🇺🇲🇸🇪
Morgan is from the USA and Will is originally from Sweden. We met while working together in Germany in 2018 and have ever since tried to find a place to call home. In January of 2022 Morgan finally received a positive decision on her residency application in Sweden, so for now we know where we will call home. We look forward to share with you the challenges and differences between our cultures, and how it works when they meet in our relationship. We very much love each other, but do we love everything about where we are from? Is Sweden as good as everyone says, and is America more than all of its stereotypes?

Oh it's hard leaving them behind but you should try doing just small amounts of time away, even if it's 30 minutes and you're in the garden and then increase, little by little. He will only develop into a more secure and less nervous type of dog if he is okay being independent and relaxed on his own. Especially the little dogs, everyone loves to hold them because they are so sweet but they need to learn how to be with four feet on the ground and not above everyone all the time. Theres going to come a time when you both want to or need to be away and it will be so much easier if you begin getting him a bit use to it now. Looking forward to the room makeover, You guys take care, you're too cute with that fur baby. Matcha in a bag, LOL! Have a great week!
We have been leaving him for short moments and it’s going slowly but surely better. Yes, so important for him to walk and be on the ground, which he is. He’s such a good walker and we really believe he is such a good sleeper because we walk him so much during the day and because he gets stimulated not only physically but also mentally.
