- In the second installment of #HitALick in collaboration with Steers, we follow the hustle journey of street icon Uncle Vinny. Uncle Vinny, real name Kabelo Vincent Ndlovu is quite familiar with the streets of Joburg and how the hustle goes in that part of the city. At his young age of 17 years, he has mastered the art of making a quick buck.
In this segment, Vinny is given R5000.00 by Steers and is tasked with making the most money out of that. His plan is pretty simple, he will sell one of his most prized sneakers one of his friends who has been looking for these sneakers. Uncle Vinny bought the Air Jordan 1 OG Obsidian University Blue for R2500.00 at a local retailer and is looking to resell this sneaker for double the amount. Sneaker culture in SA has grown exponentially and Vinny aims to leverage from this.
