We have had the Eufy 11s Slim for about a year. We use it to keep sand, crumbs and other messes off the floor that collect really quickly with our girls enjoying our time at home and just being kids.
Every once and a while you will want to sweep/vacuum the old fashioned way to get some stuff that likes to hide in tough to reach corners, but we have been very happy with how it has preformed. It has drastically cut down the time needed to keep our floors clean.
We've owned a Roomba in the past, which we were very happy with, but it eventually stopped working. I spent a lot of time looking through reviews of different vacuums when looking to replace the Roomba. The Eufy 11s had great reviews. In the end, it came down to price. The Eufy 11s was a better value than other robovacs.
It has performed very well. I was a little worried about buying anything other than a Roomba, but the Eufy 11s has lived up to the positive reviews.

I have to say something, at 2:06 - The filter he pulls out does NOT need to be replaced, nor does it need to be pulled out. It's the "hepa" filter(s) at the top (which is not even shown in this video) that needs to be replaced every 2-3 months. Other than that though, great video. Also at 5:02 he is using scissors; You actually do get a tool with this robot that can cut the hair, make the brush almost new and even remove dust.

I have not used the v ac for a while and today I decided to use it again and your video helped me to refresh the use of it. I have to be supervising the eufy because I have the a/c vents on the floor and stairs and will be bad for the vac to fall down. Thank you for your video.

I’ve had the Eufy 11s slim for years. We use it every day. Wood floors, ceramic tile and low pile rugs.
Our Labradane is black so you don’t really see those short hairs. Eufy finds them. And he fits under low modern furniture. I was a vacuum freak before with an $$$ expensive Oreck. I never touch it anymore.
I’ve bought 11s 0:07 for friends, as gifts and recommended to everyone. They love it too.
He’s like a member of our family.
We buy the off brand refills.
Eufy works so well for us we got Eufy security 0:07 cameras(on EBay reconditioned, still working great a year and a half later.)
    Buy this!!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 0:07 0:07 0:07

Background: I have a shedding dog, so I bought this in hopes that by running it every-day, it would pick up on some of the dog hair on the floor.
    What I like:
    -VERY easy to use.
    -easy to follow instructions
-has a sticker on the bottom so if it ever stops and beeps, you can flip it over and it says exactly what the beeps mean (one beep means one thing, two beeps means another--which is SUPER helpful!).
-color on top clearly shows what mode it is in (blue-ready to go, orange-needs to charge, red-problem to fix-such as emptying the tray).
-very quiet. I can work on stuff with it in the room and it does not bother me at all (my dog also does not mind it).
-works great on white carpet and easily transitions from my living room to dining room (which has a slight bump).
-when its low on battery, it does not die where it is at, it just turns off the vacuum then finds the home doc and charges itself.
-just works really well. I run it everyday and I am impressed by how much stuff it gets (especially when it goes under things such as the couch).
-if it gets caught on a cord, it usually takes 5-10 seconds but then it stops the suctioning and moves away (releasing the cord or other item). However if you have a small cord you should put it up (and you should regardless, I just noticed it doing this a few times and thought it was neat, but I do try to pick up all cords).
    What could be improved:
-nothing really in particular to this.
-It does not work well on anything black, but this is true for all robot vacuums. It sometimes gets stuck when it goes on the black carpet we have with the black chairs (I suspect because it can not detect them), but this has not happened often. My dog has a black mat for her food and water and it always bumps into it and spills the water, but again, this would occur with any robot vacuum.
-Also, make sure the doc is against a wall because otherwise it will move and never charge (self explanatory, but I did not do the first time and it kept trying to doc and was just pushing the doc around the floor).
-Finally, you do have to dump out the vacuum particles almost every time you run it (if you do a full circle/battery cycle). It is really easy to dump and beeps when it needs to be emptied. Again, nothing really negative, just something to note.
Overall, I really like this! It does a nice job cleaning up the dog hair and other things that get on my floor and saves me a lot of time not vacuuming daily. If you have a dog, I would watch them with this first before you use it. My dog was initially scared of it but sniffed it's "butt" and now they are cool and she does not mind it at all. Pleased with this product and would recommend! :)
    **UPDATE**
On another note, Eufy has amazing customer service! I received an email from them addressing each of my "what could be improved" components with more information on the product. Very impressed. I bought it at amzn.to/3nGcEXx

Just curious what Roomba you had? I have / had a 500 series and a Red (400 series). I've had them for 13 and 15 years! The Red was 100% stock other than new batteries every year or two. Still worked perfect after 15 years! Sadly, it ended up falling down the stairs and then it had issues. I used the Red in a single room (well, except I sometimes used it to clean by the front door. Raised ranch/split level home and the entrance has stairs going up and down. So, it is just a like 5x7 square feet to clean there). I wanted to replace it with something good, but, low cost (I have a Neato Botvac D80, and, my Roomba 500 that take care of upstairs and downstairs). Just needed something simple for one fairly large room that has hard floors (feed my dogs here and have their crates and beds here. Also a small bird which drops seeds and feathers). This seems like a great solution! It arrives today and I hope it lasts a long time and performs well!

buy this robot hoover it is amazing. i got an 11s from ebay for £74 and it is the best thing that i have ever bought. we have short pile carpets and they look new after robo has done it's job, it wouldn't be any good with long pile but short to medium pile brilliant. takes 4 or 5 hours to charge from entering dock but as a charge lasts about 100 mins it always returns to dock with charge left, does the whole front room in about 10 mins.

There have only been a handful of times that it hasn’t made its way back to the charging base. Most of those have been because we left something on the floor it got caught on and stopped.

That may be on your remote control. It looks like the top number is actual time and the lowest number may be the time it is suppose to run at, mine is brand new, not familiar with the remote but it is clear(nothing in the window) and it only starts up when I pick up the remote and hit auto. d2211byn0pk9fi.cloudfront.net/spree/accessories/attachments/72623/T2108_Manual_51005000959_20180525_148x210mm_V02_EN.pdf?1533028783

with random patterns, how does it complete a room before exiting to another?

    • @AbbyPenny
      @AbbyPenny  Před 3 lety

It’s completely random from what I’ve seen and read on the unit. It doesn’t necessarily finish an entire room before going to the next. If there are too many rooms involved it may get ‘lost’, but ours does a great job of taking care of our family room, kitchen, dinning area, and entry.

Nice video (I call mine Goofy). Why run and close doors when you can use that tape at the threshold and it won't cross the tape. I don't want mine to enter the bathroom because it would gobble up the wee wee pad that the dog uses. So, I put that magnet strip that came with mine across in front of the threshold and my Goofy Eufy doesn't enter that room. It does seem to run forever!! When I am tired of listening, I have Alexa send it home. It, and my Coredy both start cleaning at 2:00 every day. Both clean for a long time but the Eufy is quieter. Both robo vacs recognize the magnetic tape so they are never in the same room. My major complaint with all these little vacs is, they do NOT clean under your standard size chair. They will TRY to get under the kitchen chair but cannot. I LOVE that they go under the sofa!
