You should mention that Power Of The Force had also a similar set as Scout Trooper + Speeder Bike but Luke in Endor helm and cape + Speeder Bike, it also had a weird light sabre with handle that could fit in arms that were sculpted for Speeder Bike handle bars. I don`t see much of it around web.
Awesome comparison! Thank you for the review because there’s so many of these bikes out there, and us fans and collectors didn’t really know all of the differences before buying. I was at the perfect age for playing with the original first speeder bike at the precious age of 11 when Jedi and the toys came out 1983. The latest version of the speeder bike ROCKS!! 🤩🤩🤩

There is also the black series Shadow Speeder bike & Biker Scout that came boxed along with Shadow Stormtrooper from 2014

You are correct about the Shadow Speeder Black Series!
The only reason they could re-release the speeder bike at all in the 1990s was that Palitoy in Britain kept the tooling for all the original Star Wars range, unlike Kenner, which trashed them.

Very comprehensive and accurate review, there’s some CZcamsrs that are reviewing the 2023 release all wrong, missing aspects of it, and in some cases calling it a re release of the 2012 version. I understand the mistake is easy to make, but it was nice to see a review of it(along with the review of all the other bikes). Excellent work 👍
Thank you for the reply. You are correct. A first glance the new bikes looks like the 2012 version but upon further examination..... Great to see them release one again for the 40th anniversary!

Great video and comprehensive review of the history of all the speeder bike toys we have got over the years. I just received my TVC speeder bike. As I have never had a speeder bike before I think it is really cool! However, I can't help thinking Hasbro could have saved a lot of money but just re-releasing the 2012 version and giving it a better paint job. The 2012 version is still the best one by far!

I completely missed the 2012 release. Still don’t have one. Tried to make up for that by buying five of the new one 😂.
