- I was lucky enough to visit the three atolls of Tokelau last year for work. What a surreal experience! Great people, great culture and breathtaking scenery. Hopefully, I get to visit this place again in the future.
Glad that this paradise is gonna get an airstrip soon , hope to visit tokelau someday !

Not really.
You're pretty much a rich guy to have a car in there I guess. The islands themselves were like atoll sized, so you won't even expect someone be driving in there.
How do people live there? What does he eat, what does he do? What do I build houses with?

They’re Pacific Islanders , before the white men came to the pacific islands, they were doing just fine, living off the land. Fishing, hunting, making houses out of wood, stone & coconut leaves, & drinking the coconut water.
Pretty much the same as any other pacific island except they have lesser access to things because of their isolation.

This place will disappear with the rising waters.
I have never visited any of the Pacific Ocean islands, but I often think about how devastating it must be to live with this fear. I hope this will not happen.
@@asbisi It is the Holocene, the 6th mass extinction in which the majority of all life will disappear on earth, but the 6th extinction which is called the Holocene will be the first caused by man. I have to say that there were no humans for all 5 mass extinctions that there have been.
