Mercruiser Boat Project Overheat Cure

After about two years of chasing my own tail around, I discovered why the motor was overheating. Turned out to be a five minute, $0.00 fix. I have the same problem, tried changing the hoses and it worked for me too... It works but feels wrong !? Thanks for the help

If all the hoses are outflow through the manifolds it shoud be fine, it's just the less resistance flow to the upper area helps keep the hot water in the motor longer whichs helps raise the motor temp. I does feel wrong, but analytically, it's correct. That is if you look at your system water flow completely and understand how it works. Like I said in the video, it worked for me.
