Is it just me, or is Simon becoming a better and better person over the last few years?

I think he’s always been a good person. He just doesn’t want his time wasted with people who claim to have talent that clearly don’t and that’s understandable when you watch hundreds of people perform all day. Seeing Simon be mean to people on these shows helped the ratings. Now I feel they just edit and air the episodes with good acts only.
I think having a child does that to a person.🙂
Well he owns the show basically so he kinda has to be a good person to attract viewers.

She took what is literally considered the one of most difficult songs in Opera from a technical standpoint far as vocal range, and technique and knocked it into orbit. And she did this at age 9...... remember that!!! And she did it in front of a live audience

She is incredible and even though I don’t like the music type.. I am happy that i can say I got to see her at 10 when she was just getting famous. She is going to be a world famous super star.. period the WORLD will know her name and voice!

I just saw Victory's story on my local news station. She is incredible, her parents are incredible, her entire support system is incredible. I applaud everyone around her. For those who don't know opera the name of the aria is "Je Peux Vivre" from the opera Romeo et Juliette which was composed by Charles Gounod. This is one of the most difficult pieces for women who are sopranos.
This young lady did amazing for her age. As a music teacher I am proud.

I don't understand why people think that she isn't worthy of a group golden buzzer. When in your life have you seen a child sing that wonderfully in OPERA? This child is very gifted and is very genuine (no sad or "fake" backstory") Keep in mind that she is nine and has been singing opera since she was six, so you won't be getting top of the line opera. That being said, she is taking lessons and learning how to care for her voice and her vocal chords if she chooses ro do harder songs in the future. Wonderful talent! She could take it all!

Many ppl are being abused by their own biological parents, some ppl don’t even have any parents at all. You can see that this young lady is just poised and blessed from every fibre of her beings, surrounded by a group of ppl who loves and cares for her genuinely. As they say: "Just the way we practiced it". Unbelievable talent! Just one point I feel is worth mentioning: Did you notice the Mom? This was not about her; she waited until her daughter had absorbed every ounce of applause and spotlight before she went out on the stage to offer her love. It's obvious Mom had a hand in this, but took NONE of the spotlight. Rare; rare, indeed!

You can tell how special their mother-daughter relationship is. Before her performance, she looked over at mom. After her performance, she looked over at mom. Then finally after the golden buzzer, she ran towards her mom. What a special moment between the two of them. So happy for this little girl!

This kid is *literally* the equivalent to a Disney princess. She can sing really well at a young age and technically got 5 golden buzzers because all the judges (including Terry) were in on it. Not to mention that random bird that seemingly liked her and her singing when it sat there to watch.

@@kari5829 Whether or not it is staged isn't what I am looking at. I don't believe the bird specifically flew in for her and her singing, but that doesn't get in the way of me finding it very cute anyway. Just because the bird is "staged", doesn't mean you can't act like it was there for her. Having fun doesn't make you 5 years old, either. Even if I were 5 years old, I'd at least be allowed to say things like what I said above and be happy about it without people like you coming at me. I don't see why people still use that as an insult when you have fun, but okay. Let the kid have her princess moment, don't ruin it, get over it.

@@Robot404_ Terry is more genuine and likable than will smith imo. Terry isn't the A-list actor he once was, Will Smith still is. Terry seems to genuinely love doing this instead of acting full time.

That's cute that he wants to include Terry. He could have left him out and just had the other judges press it. Simon is really becoming so enjoyable these last few seasons. Maybe his accident? Maybe having a son? He just seems so joyful and fun. Keep being you Simon.

I've been watching classic American Idol and rewatching classic X Factor episodes recently and the difference from the Simon then compared to now is mind blowing. It's like 2 completely different people.
