I am "Timber 2 Lumber".
Since March 2021, I have been thinning forests in Japan as a hobby, creating a place for environmental education for my children.
The trees cut during the thinning process will be used to create works of art, and the sales of those works will be used to promote further thinning.
The origin of the name "Timber 2 Lumber" is from the concept of doing everything from Timber to Lumber all by myself.
The unique feature is that it is possible to create attractive works by collaborating with various processing machines such as woodworking lathes and laser engraving machines with rare tree species that are hard to find in the market.
I made a bowl from Wild cherry.

私は2021年3月から、趣味で雑木林を開拓し、こどもの環境教育の場を創っています。(2023年1月に開業いたしました。）
その開拓過程で伐採した木から様々な作品を創り出し、その売上を元にさらに山に開拓を勧めていくこととしています。
Timber 2 Lumberの由来は、立木(Timber)から木材(Lumber)までを私一人でこなすというコンセプトからです。
市場になかなか出回らない雑木林の希少な樹種と、木工旋盤やレーザー刻印機などの様々な加工機のコラボレーションで、魅力的な作品造りが可能なことが持ち味です。
