P'Aof decided not to put eng sub when Heart used sign language cause he want us to feel exactly what Li Ming feels. Subtitles will be put up once Li Ming started to learn how to do sign language and I think it's very genius cause as a viewer we can also learn how to atleast understand a bit of sign language and feel relate to the characters. Gosh I'm loving this series so much❤️❤️
Thats so cool, I know sign language, but I think it changes from each country but maybe there is some common words. I love this detail , I would love to do a character like this

I love the cinematography for this entire show. The color contrasts how the lights bounce of Earth and Mix faces, creating this glow.
Mix looks gorgeous and flawless, and Earth looks amazing.

Mix said they did more in that "improvised bed scene" (only the ear biting is in the script) and I can't imagine if we will still be alive if we watch the uncut version. 🤭🤭🤭
Also, there's symbolism at 37:38 where Wen's phone finally came to life and started charging while he is reminiscing about his time with Jim. We can see that the camera panned to the other vacant charger which belongs to Alan, but it was empty. The way I understand it and based on the trailer, their relationship is still ongoing but dead and a loveless one now. But Wen's reminiscing about his time with Jim last night revived his lonely "dead" heart (his charging phone represents this perfectly).

Heart is not completely wrong about the accident because Li Ming grasped Heart's arm to notify his presence. He didn't tapped his shoulder. He was a little annoyed with Heart ignoring him and acted a tad more aggressively than he should.
Jim hiring Wen meant that he opened the door for a relationship. He has a bunch of difficulties to solve but he's drooling and I can't blame him!! Go go Wen! he needs you!!

I found amazing detail cell phone chargers colors and positions those are putting in are different it show Alan and Wenn have exactly opposite character and personaliy.
This 1st episode...the EarthMix chemistry! 😍Also excited to watch the performances of FK & GF and the inclusion of the deaf community as well. P'Aof spoke of Midnight series: Dirty Laundry, Midnight Motel & Moonlight Chicken, having distinct styles, but all having a connection point. The concept of night people and 'home' is unique and the cinematography is so captivating as well. 🌔

The opening scene introducing the characters felt like a theatre play scene the way it was blocked! Those scenes can take forever as they do it in one take but its satisfying to watch imo. I also love the orange and blue cool tones they use for soft scenes with EarthMix STUNNING. Sometimes I get telenovela vibes esp when they do the “back from the break” slow mo close up shot of a character looking at the camera 😂 brings me back to watching soaps with my Dominican Mami 🥲
