Manzee....never thought the soft spoken vocalist Mr lenny had such a tough journey growing up.
The lighting and editing are perfect in this episode. Mr. Lenny is a legend. I remember his performance at UON on the day of President Obama's Inauguration celebration. He gave a fire performance.
Oooh Mwafrika, please as Mr.Lenny said , kama munaweza bring awareness to people esp. Women about blood pressure! Aki let them not ignore those headaches, NEVER IGNORE A HEADACHE! And hakuna kitu mbaya with having to take those pressure medication. Let the ladies always be going and checking on their blood pressure. Untreated blood pressure results to complications. Anything above 130/80 is not a normal.

I don't think mental issues and childhood issues are necessarily related..
Like for some it comes from trauma e.g from war/ civil fights, sexual assault, other related illnesses, etc...
Anything can be related. The human brain is complex like that

Mr Lenny hiyo story ya your sister is still so fresh in our minds. She was my colleague when I landed my first job and I credit her for the knowledge she seamlessly imparted on me when I was a freshman at work. Such a lovely soul.

Though I'm not a doctor or clinician, it sounds like the dad has Schizophrenia symptoms rather than dementia 💔
That's true,Mwaf is talking about 2 different things. Mr. Lenny at 1st said that his dad had schizophrenia and according to how he explains it it's not about memory loss.
True @@kinakina2129 & @johnmuchoki9145. I'm taking care of a dad who has dementia and Lenny's dad symptoms don't sound like dementia. Although severe cases of dementia patients can be violent and also have hallucinations. Mr Lenny has also said the recent doctor's diagnosis is schizophrenia. @IkoNini as a follow-up, you can bring a doctor - Neurologists & Psychiatrists are able to differentiate different mental illnesses like depression, bi-polar, Alzheimers etc

with dementia, always acknowledge what they're seeing. Play along. Then redirect. Sometimes they are caused by UTI(Urinary Truck Infenction) or Sundowning. Ask Mr. lenny to have his dad checked out for UTI.
