I don't believe Brandy is underrated, she's just not appreciated as much because she's special. Brandy is an acquired taste, her voice, lyrics and music have such depth and quality that you have to be in a certain space to receive. She's like an expensive wine that only seasoned connoisseurs understand and appreciate.

@@Morning404 Thanks! I notice this throughout the album. The way she conveys changing moods, love/hate feelings, highs/lows, strength/weakness in her songs. She made me feel like I was actually in the mind of someone struggling with mental health instead of listening to a song. I've struggled with it so it felt very familiar. I don't know how intentional it is but the theme of the album seems very detailed. It's Brandy though so I wouldn't expect less. She's amazing!
